I don't know about anyone else but sometimes wish I had time to just do nothing for a bit. In short I wish I was a Man.

... or you could be me :D (although technically I'm supposed to be working, not on here, but I dropped in to see whether there was any news of Sandy) no kids, no man cluttering the place up - if I want to ignore stuff I can as it doesn't impact anyone else. Keep reminding me how good it is so I stop feeling sorry for myself..

  • Hi ladies,

sorry to be MIA this week - am rather overly busy with too many things, but priority for next 48 hours is the NCT sale I'm helping run - I have a fetching white van outside loaded with all the bits we need and we'll start on it late this evening.

I don't wish to be a man, but would like to achieve some more me time - am thinking seriously how to achieve that in the near future.

Not had time to read through all but ((hugs)) to Sandy, and yippees to Rach.

Rach - join us in the NCT - great way to make mummy friends, shop at the sales and don't forget to book antenatal classes now...or else!!

OK - back to my checklists - I'm having that funny I've forgotten something feeling..

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

We need a secret sign or something (like the masons) so one flylady could spot another in the street and nod, maybe Soappie could help what with her secret agent experience; or maybe a badge like the Mothers Union, is that Rosepinks territory?:D
LOL, that sounds like a good plan. You could carry a copy of pride and prejudice with a red carnation in it, like on You've Got Mail - although for flyladies perhaps you should all wear one rubber glove, Michael Jackson stylie! :rotfl:

I thought it was going to be the bus from Summer Holiday?:p
Ug, but then it might have bloomin Cliff Richard on it

AJ hope your friend is ok. What sort of obs was your DH having?

Diva please write in Frogcity before I’m tempted to ask what it is…hee hee

    Hugs Yorkie, what horrible news

Rach, I’m so pleased for you, please feel free to rabbit on about babies!

Hugs Holly, hope you are better soon

FFP so glad for HRH getting a prize! Sorry about the school, I know you were campaigning for it to stay open. That’s sad news

    Hugs Choccybix

    Sandy, thinking of you xx

Love and hugs to Lady Liberty xx

I'm much better today, got up quite early to reply to a message from someone about having my items in their shop in the USA - I'm so hoping this works out, I really really want to get into a shop.

I've tidied kitchen, and all floors, and have hoovered all floors. Quite an achievement for me, I hate hoovering, and it's even harder when DH is here as he always manages to be where I'm trying to go!
He seems brighter today and less groggy. He still claims to be terribly ill and about to die, but he's quite a bit better actually.

This evening I plan to wash up and clean the loo and maybe the bath too. I've put bleach and water in the bathroom sink as DH put his cleaning cloths in there after he was ill last night..ewww!

Scrub that, I am going to take up smoking. I could then spend ten minutes doing nothing every hour :o:p.

Rose - I like the songs from the film, NOT Cliff Richards. My littles like most muscals so we have Bugsy Malone, Chitty Bang Bang, Summer Holiday, etc on fairly regularly. Shame I haven't managed to convert them to Seven Brides, Calamity Jane et al.

I am making dinner for six, plus millionaires shortbread because I promised SS2 who doesn't lie and steal, cheering up a miserable kitten (who is recovering from being badly bitten by something earlier this week ) with a packet of ham, shifting the WM contents into the TD all whilst strring spit into the gravy. Never, ever eat my gravy . Never, ever P** me off :p.

    Moany. moany, moany - sorry!

PP - I may be able to make Meadowhell but I would have to bring the boys.
I'd suggested Thursday, as it's school hols. Would Friday suit you better - if so I'll edit my post :D

I can make most days in the holidays (don't finish until next Thursday), but Thursdays are DH's days off and he likes me to be around. Don't know why, because we never really achieve anything and all he wants to do is go (window)shopping. I've committed myself to a Y11 revision day in the second week and need to check the date, but as far as I remember it's at the beginning of the week. Unless DS1 is busy with school stuff, he will look after DS2 for me. I might even let them go to the cinema in M'hall.
It would be lovely to meet lots of you. :D

No preference! I wouldn't mind getting back home for about 4pm, but it's not essential.
Where are we meeting? How about the Starbucks upstairs near Primark? It might be quieter than other places - well, at least until we get there. :D
