Ug, but then it might have bloomin Cliff Richard on it
Panic not - the Driver gets to say who can get on, and as I'm the Driver......:rotfl:

I've tidied kitchen, and all floors, and have hoovered all floors. Quite an achievement for me, I hate hoovering, and it's even harder when DH is here as he always manages to be where I'm trying to go!
:rotfl:I've got one like that - always manages to be in front of the drawer/cupboard I want to et to when I'm cooking, if he's home!

PigpenHow is the delegating of decorating going? Hope you never cooked wee fishes

Nope.. they are decanted into their new spacious tank and DS3 said we need 3 more to fill it up as they look like they might get lost!

DS2 apparently hit the other tank with a paint brush to scare the fish.. and made said leaky hole. knew it was him.... This is the same one that set my kitchen alight!

Kitchen is all painted just about.. bit of touching up to do but I'll do that when I have the sanding and filling sorted and have to paint the last section.

Diva hope you have got your camera and are sutably excited and chuffed:D
rach a MSE baby - well done you:T
cyclingyorkie - condolences, strength and coping vibesfor the family who have lost a Mum that is tragic for those little ones and positive vibes for the wee 8 year 0ld - I hope he pulls through or has a peaceful painfree passing. (((hugs))) for the rest of you - its very hard to bear when thats happening
holly sorry you are worse - long lie needed tomorrow i think and get back on your feet. (((hugs)))
FFP thats a real shame about the school - it seems to be happening here too - they do it up then a year later it gets closed and they build a new one ??????????? what a waste of money!!!!! I hope you get a good school for the children. Congrats to Princess Piper for her prize - thats excellent news xx

I'll definitely be on the bus too, Sandy, and I promise I'm not mucky or smelly! Has anyone mentioned wheelchair races yet?
No they havent and I thank you to keep that little gem to yourself:eek::eek::eek:.......races indeed ..*what are the younger generation coming to and what about health and safety....mumble, moan, witter,............ crash helmet...*
ajmoney huge (((hugs))) for your friend and the horse - I am sure she will have the strength to do the right thing for the beastie but its not easy - no matter what you say you are being a lovely friend to accompany her. You have got me nosey now - what equipment???? (is it a lethal weapon?) ETA poor love what a decision she had to make but obviously it had to be for the horse's sake - (((hugs))) for you both. Words arent needed - just being there was what she needed xx
Good to see DH got on ok - hope the outcome is worth waiting for - enjoy your chilled evening and weekend - sounds like you need it
piggers you are on a roll again - - how are DS and GF liking their new house?
Mumof2 well done with getting the typing work -hope you get through them all easily.
Triker (((hugs))) for your financials disasters - tis not fair when they all come at once - enjoy the new scaffolding:rotfl::p
short bird Option A would be my choice - After the kitchen I would start at the top of the house if you have upstairs and do down to the hall - try to keep the dirty rooms closed as much as possible to lessen the dust etc transferring - if you have got stairs make sure that everyone wipes their feet until you get downstairs rooms done so that you dont take it back up - it will be much nicer to sleep in dust free rooms - there is no easy way when the whole house is affected but try to work it out before you start so that you are not causing extra work for yourself. HTH
LameWolf no problem honey it was just an idea - I see that you sometimes speak to people after your husband - what about a handsfree phone so that you could listen into his conversation with them and join in if you felt like it and you wouldnt actually have to use the phone handset. It might help overcome your fears quicker than getting worked up waiting for the moment when you have to speak? IYSWIM. oooh thats lovely news about your doggy visitors - how exciting for you xx
thriftmonster hope your MiL has been sorted and is on the mend now (((hugs))) for her
1 step the very best of luck with your big walk tomorrow - you have done well so far so I am sure you will be fine - a bit sore and tired but fine nonetheless xx
Kezlou hope you get the card thing sorted.
Mumto5 awh honey thats not good (((hugs))) I hope he has apologised for punching you for starters and maybe you need to consider grounding him or taking away something - computer games or similar - I have no kids so I am probably talking through a whole in me head but it pains me to hear of children behaving like this - when they are so loved and cared for but they just dont seem to appreciate it or that school work will help later in life. I know we were all a bit rebellious at times but children seem much worse these days (or is that just me getting old:o) I am glad DH was with you and heard it all for himself too.
JillD enjoy your spa - I think you are needing a nice wee break, sounds like DS needed the rest - hope the holidays help him.
pooh nice to hear the men are helping - how did your new craft meeting go?
hex :rotfl::rotfl: will never look ar gravy in the same way again!!!!! lots of gentle huggles for poor little kitty
AnW'sMum hope the inspection went ok

how did you get on Sandy ? we are all thinking about you honey - you can pm me if you dont want to post xx

had a lovely time with my friend but it wasnt hugely successful - I had an idea what i wanted and of course couldnt find it - i did het a couple of things but i am not 100 convinced. But i realised that I am not fit for trawling around the shops and trying things on - i was shattered when i got back - it was pouring rain too!

never mind we had a nice time together.

I think I am going to have an evening off!

  • Well, I can't remember, but I think it was boddy or triker who I was trying to convince that there is never any need to do anything to hurt someone who has done you ill beacause the Lord, or karma, will do it for you.

XKH who did a flit when DD1 a tiny baby has lost his job. XKH's floosie who I believe he flitted to (woman who had affair with married man with tiny baby) is on mat leave with baby a few weeks old.

Now I haven't caused or contributed to any of this, and I do feel sorry for the innocent baby, but I can't feel sorry for the other two.

They have just bought a bigger house and XKH is driving a nearly new souped up car.

flying wise, wm unloaded and reloaded, fire lit.

    Evening all,

I've decluttered one of my first lasts (if that makes sense) - I had my last Friday at school!:j Felt a bit sad though as my kids still don't know, and I have had lots of fun with them this week as we had an Around the World week on Australia. I won't be able to tell them until Monday or Tuesday (we finish on Thursday) as I have to wait until the Head sends out the news letter to the parents. I know a couple of my children at least will be going on holiday abroad, and missing the last couple of days, so I won't get much of a chance to say goodbye to them.

Quite a few people are now confirmed as coming to my leaving do, and I'm hoping to hear from a few more next week. I'm really looking forward to it. :)

Hugs for ajmoney's friend, and best of luck to your DH on his observations - having just finished my NQT year in December, I know how nerve-wracking the wait for the results is, especially in the last ones. Hope they've gone well.

Hugs also for Sandy - I hope it went well at the hospital. I was thinking of you today.

Talking of flylady meets, I've still not got many confirmed attendees for the Chichester meet with LadyL. Please look at the post in this link, and PM me if you're interested in going.

    Love to all,

    sexymouse xx
