I thought it was going to be the bus from Summer Holiday?:p
Sandy - thinking of you today.
PP - I may be able to make Meadowhell but I would have to bring the boys.
Dusty - fingers crossed for a sunny fortnight for gardening purposes
I am working this morning but before I left I put the boys bedding into the WM. Need to sort out SS2 room and bedding when I get back too. MIL slept in there at the weekend and I haven't touched it yet. I have worked pretty much full time this week and it shows.

Hi all, hugs to Sandy and Rosepink who didn't have a good night I read.
Had a great day in Leeds yesterday, got measured for my bra's in Bravissimo, finally got there after promising myself for years. For me its been false economy trying to 'guess' my size as everything I've pretty much bought doesn't really properly fit. So I got myself sorted so I'm a happy bunny.:D
Just made myself Miso soup as myself and my friend went to Wagamama for lunch and it was lovely so we stopped off at the oriental supermarket and bought the ingredients for Miso soup. Soooo much cheaper than supermarkets.
Today I'm in York later to pick up the van but I'm sorry Sandy hun it'll be late this afternoon so I'm not much use to you there, you're still in my thoughts though sweetie. xxx
Cheesed off a bit this week as it seems to be a money draining week, I've been fined for not re sorning my Trike...I never had a reminder!
Hubby was caught over the speed limit on 1079....I HATE that road!!! £60 fine and 3 points..please understand I do not agree with speeding but there are some places that are deliberately set out to catch you out...I know as I passed the police gun again yesterday, hiding in a side street, so I flashed everyone I possibly could to warn them.
There's been some other stuff but I won't go on.:rotfl:
So flying wise, I think I'll get some washing done, it's a beautiful day.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Would you:
a) do one room at a time and work ceiling to floor till you'd done the lot
b) start at the top of every room and work through the whole flat doing the top bit, then the middle, then the floor _pale_
c) bring extra bits into the daily routine WHAT daily routine?? says the voice at the back of my mind :rotfl:
d)
On reflection, B seems like a really bad idea, but we have a little portable vacuum as well as the usual full size one so this would cut down on the stuff that drops to the floor.
All ideas gratefully received. Best wishes to all.
I'd do the kitchen first if that is affected. Then yes I'd do ceiling down HTH
Back from garden centre, got what I needed to, it is still quite nice here so I may have to do a couple of hours gardening this afternoon:DThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
toottifrootti wrote: »LW I wish I could help - I love the phone - would you do hypnotherapy for the phobia? is ther any way I can help? like ringing you at pre-arranged times so you know its me and then would feel safe to pick it up and maybe build up your confidence?
Hypnotherapy isn't an option because I don't trust therapists.:(Can I ask for some good vibes for a friend please? She has been having some problems with her horse and she needs to make a very tough decision with the vet tomorrow. She has been very upset this week while we have been away, we have been away so much recently that she hasn't had much time with him. I am taking her to see the horse and vet tomorrow at 12 so she doesn't have to go through anything on her own and so she doesn't have to drive.LW - I have a phone phobia too, not as bad as yours, but I get really panicky when the phone rings and I don't know whos on the other end (unknown numbers or on the landline, really should get caller ID) or ringing people I don't know. People always think I'm just being silly though, no-one really takes me seriously with any of my panic/anxiety stuff, I kinda feel like they think I put it on when I'm really very scared:(....sorry, that was suppose to be about you not me...
Going back to finish catching up with the thread now; I did a reply now because I'd done the maximum amount of 3 multi-quotes. Back posting shortly......
I have some news, but I'm gonna make you wait til I've caught up!:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Off back to work today after a day off - both DD2 and I had a tummy bug. Not looking forward to it - on Wed we learned that one mum had died of cancer (she left 6 and 4 yearolds) and that one of our pupils was in a hospice close to death - he's only 8, We knew he had a life limiting condition...but it's still a shock.....and he was such a character.
Positive vibes would be welcome if you've got any to spare.....funfairprincess wrote: »
Yesterday DD won a prize for her book review for world book day. She got to choose a book from the traveling book fair and was presented it in assembly. I'm so proud she was the only primary 1 to get a prize:T:T
Hey!:T:T Well done DD!
Sandy I'll be thinking of you today. I've bought my ticket for the bus and will take charge of the dodgy singing. Huge hugs honey.

Now.... I mentioned news.
I got an email from the dog-sitting franchise last night; I'm to have two little Canine guests for 9 days in April.:j:j:j:T:T:T I can't wait!!:D:D:D:D:D
Right, I shall now sober up and get back to Flying in the [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] spare room.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hi everyone:D
Back after being \MIA for a couple of weeks - had to zip over to England to deal with MIL problems - she's broken her hip.
Anyway I'm back to join you as it's the only way to keep on top of the [STRIKE]hovel[STRIKE]house.
Ds2 is off to scout camp tonight so I've taken his duvet to be washed and dried whilst he's away - £9 -:eek:it would be cheaper to buy a new cheap one - but I can't justify the landfill.
House isn't too bad on the surface but I know there are lots of hidden hotspots that I need to deal with.
Ironing Himalayas will be first this afternoon. DH is asleep ATM as he got in from Malaysia this morning - need to wake him in a mo and feed the kids - they're both on a half day as they've finished for Easter.
Right off to do something and will start in earnest on Mon:T“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”
