Ok I'm guilty of doing nothing today except sit on my bum [and I wonder why its so big!!] and drinking coffee and eating sausage and mushroom sandwich DH made, oh, and I've handed in an application form for a Midday Supervisor job at a school within cycling distance as the job I've just got would be perfect if I could have decent hours - love the job but can't keep working weekends [kiddies, especially DD hates it] and can't keep doing an early shift [7.30 start] or a late shift [10pm end] and the uncertainty of when I will get work does nothing for the bank balance so I'm hoping to get this job which I've done before and liked - well most of the time - and it means decent hours and no working in the school hols which again DD is struggling wth [got to work over easter hols] What a whinge!!

Done WM x 3, 5 more to go, DW x 1, TD x 2, washed up and thats it. Going into the shopping centre after school with DD as she wants to spend some of her birthday money on rubbish.

PS Sexymouse - hope it went ok this morning
Wilf - couldn't get your photos to load but wow to your son

  • Hi everyone!

I've been gardening all morning - have tidied loads up in the garden, watered the g/house and inspected my seeds I planted last week (they're up!); plus I have planted my box trees :). I've also swept the floor in the kitchen, done a quick S&S (but not enough to claim a star) and had a bath/hairwash. bathtub.gif

Now I've got to go out to
    * Take a book back to the library
    * Pick a few bits of shopping up
    * Pick DD up from school

    - and have paperwork to do when I get back. So no star today, I fear :o and tomorrow I'm working.... so probably none tomorrow either.

Hope everyone is OK - and Happy Birthday to 83Rachel's DD - crossing my fingers that you find people kind and understanding on her night out.

    MissH

Triker like I said not many get the opportunity I had so have to make the most of it, I was nice to him (well nicer than some others) so he was putty in my hands :rotfl: well almost. I just said I was aware the day wasn't about those issues but I'd appreciate if he could pass it on directly on my behalf with some other things inc autism bill stuff etc. He seemed as concerned about PCT issues (inc this) as we are which was a suprise and showed us direct contact with directors highlighting his concerns.

Managed to 'streamline' some appointments today, reducing people we have to see from CAMHS to one instead of 4 which is good :D now a little housework before collecting DS2 from the local school he's 'testing' today to see if he wants to move.
One day I might be more organised...........

I've been a busy flyer. Monday and Tuesday Stars Please. I've taken the rods out of the roman blind and it's in the w/m on a cool wash - you can't believe the colour of the water it's shocking:eek:. Just wondering how I'm going to dry it as it looks like rain and its too big for the airer. Looks like it will have to hang over the top bannisters.

Dr has called me back and has chased my referral for DD2 the hair puller. She's going up in my estimation as she has asked them to let me queue jump as I have been waiting since January. She has also given me names and phone numbers so I will give them a week then start a harrassment campaign.

Thanks for all your advice on dd's chicken pox ...I rang the school and they said she can go in when the spots have scabbed over and that they have an outbreak of them at the moment . Half of them have scabbed over but some on her face and body are still a bit weepy so I guess it will be the end of the week at the earliest she goes back in .
