Hmmm, did my HHC but didn't do as much as I should - decided to sort through the top of a unit I've been putting off [STRIKE]for ages and ages[/STRIKE] for a week or two. Uncovered all sorts of wonderful stuff including my leaving work card when I had DS (he's now 3:o!) and spent a lovely time looking through it and remembering some of the people I worked with. Going to carry on for a bit before going to get my eyes tested.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Dusty.. Non-compulsory RE at the high schools here is half a GCSE with the other half being PSHE to make the whole GCSE. It is of course compulsory at the Catholic school the girls are at though not at the others.
Triker.. the only HHC I'm doing today is maybe decluttering something obscene!
to further illustrate the incompetance at the hospital here :-
7 weeks ago I made an appointment.. it took 6 attempts to find a date (due to other appointments) and a time (due to school runs) finally we made the appointment.. Today, I received a letter for a revised appointment as it had been double booked by some incompetant fool.. 3:30.. erm.. yeah I can do that is you are coming to collect my children from school.. apparently I could take them with me.. but not sure what to do with the 3 that get home after 4.. plus the 4 don't actually fit in the car! Idiots.. this is why we have spent so long finding an appointment I can make in the first place! Ok I'll ring you back..
15 minutes later.. I have the 14th.. I have to pick up children at 3 did you not hear me the first 2000 times?.. I have the 15th.. I rearranged the appointment I was sent for the 8th to the 15th so I could make both!! and the times clash..
Erm.. well the only other appointment we have available is the 8th!!!! at 12:30 (original appointment was 11am) .. Well, considering I have 2 weeks of appointments rearranged around my original date and time yes of course I can manage that one!!
it is so frustratingly annoying the idiocy of these people.. how difficult can it be? they have a list of dates and times available and they write a name in a box!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Why can't she eat it? I know you mentioned a tube before, is that for her to be fed through, or is there another reason? Sorry, I'm not being nosy, just interested as I dont' fully understand
Dusty, your comment on RE made me think of a young boy we know. His RE teacher is an atheist! How can he teach the subject with enthusiasm and make it interesting if he thinks it’s codswallop?? We give the boy Bible lessons and he goes in to school and answers up a lot as he loves our lessons and remembers loads! It’s given him a lot of confidence actually as he feels he has something to share in class, it’s really lovely.
this makes me wonder if i am suposed to teach RE, i don't teach them this at home, they see me practice my religion but i dont teach it to them
She has a gasteostemy ( a feeding tube that goes into her stomache)and because she has refused food for so long she now can't swallow. she is able to suck it to get the taste but when she swallows she chokes.
tonight when we go for a meal i will have already fed her but she will have food infront of her so she still can have the "experience" of eating. (basicly so she dosent feel socially excluded) she will (fingers crossed) suck on the food to get the taste but not swallow. its a bit minging and we have to get a table far from others because people are judgmental and think she is spitting food out to be naughty, this usually upsets her then she gets hysterical and causes problems.
to be honest 99% of the time we dont actually go out because its a pain in the behind. and her behaviour is so extreme0 -

Well today went very very well, a few 'issues' including parents from another area getting plastered & mouthy on the train but conference went very well. Got chance to have a chat with EB about services etc which was very productive too. I did pass over some stuff from different groups I was given & highlighted some concerns with PCTs (inc my signed petition about Lyme's disease to hand over to the PM directlyas promised Triker with some other things for his attention - you have to use these oppotunities) A very passionate guy which shines through, especially after meeting some of the parents who were a reason why he wanted Aiming High put in.
Will try to catch up but got 3 appointments tomorrow, eeeek!!!
(((hugs))) for anyone who needs one, from a brief read that would be quite a few of you xx Special ((hugs)) for sandy, even if I can't add much to the wise words you've had we're all thinking of you x SM good luck, we're all behind you in that room remember.
I'm very overwhelmed that you did this, what an amazingly thoughtful, kind and lovely friend you are Lil-Me.....you've set me right off. :kisses3:DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Oooh it's amazing what can be done when the sun is shining..lol. Plus I had done a major clearout of the bedroom last week so that helped. Now all I have to do is just pick bits up, dust and whizz the hoover around..
Although it does help that DH bought me a Bissell hoover at the weekend, to keep upstairs, so I don't have to keep carting the Dyson up and down the stairs. Now all I have to do is Dyson downstairs and downstairs stairs, then once a month Dyson upstairs.
It won't last I know that but am making the most of it while it does. And Toots I'm not doing too much honest, I'm only doing it in dribs and drabs..and it all gets done.
Diva Now I understand what frogblog is after reading back a couple of days on the OS Daily Thread. You know I thought you had totally gone mad after reading that on your list before reading t'other thread..lol
Sexymouse hope all went well this morning hon, and that you gave them what for.Do let us know as soon as you can how it all went.
Rose sorry you can't make it on the 11th, naughty of me to ask I know but is there anyway you can rearrange the night thing or sort of get out of it:rotfl: It would've been lovely to see yourosepink1984 wrote: »Sorry for such a long post!

Most of my teddies go to DJet to play with as he loves his teddies, the smaller the better. I will have a look around though and see what I have though although I know there are a few in the loft but I can't get up there for a few days yet.
