    Morning all

Lovely and sunny here at the moment.

Kids all at school, bit of a battle as it is enrichment day at the secondary with 2 hours RE and 2 hours boxing (which he can't do due to his recent fracture) for DS1 - he can see no point in going and whilst I agree school is school so he has gone.

Is RE compulsory in all secondary schools? It is taught really badly at ours so the kids hate it but it is a compulsory subject.

Finished dusting the family room so I'm going to:

    Wash up
    S&S bathrooms
    put WM on

then off to get petrol and to Lidl. My hip is playing up, no idea why so I'm not doing much for now.

Sexy - hope all went well and that you were honest in your reasons for leaving - nearly there sweetie

Toots, Lady L and Sandy love for you all on the difficult roads you are on x

Having a day at home today, so flying is a must! I still need to fix this blinkin' dyson (grrrr!) so I can at least vacuum the house. Problem is, I have no idea how to put the part on, lol.

Anyone up for a HHC at 9.45 ?
    I need direction to perfection...

Morning campers, not such an early morning today. Although DJet did try and get me up at 6am but I wasn't having any of it. So I told him to go to bed downstairs and off he trotted. Obviously he didn't really want me to get up..lol. Anyway he woke me up at a more reasonable time of 8.30am. So I've had my meds, had breakfast and cup of tea. All the top windows, in the house, are open as it's a lovely day blowing the cobwebs out. Just watching Upstairs and Downstairs while eating breakfast then on with the listies..

Sandy I hope you had a reasonable night and that OH was a little bit sympathetic before bed. Oooh I also wanted to tell you yesterday, but I forgot, that my next door neighbour was diagnosed with a tumour at the base of his brain cell (sounds scary!!) when he went for an eye test. Apparently if he had left it he would have been gone within two weeks. Anyway he was taken to hospital then ended up in London and had brain surgery - twice. The good news is that 2 years on you would never know that this had happened. He made a remarkable recovery and followed the doctors advice to the letter. He was finally allowed to drive a year later and has totally changed his life and thinking around. He has given up his stressful job and now works just weekdays and has the weekends off instead of working shift work. He is a much happier man and his whole family are amazing as they have all changed things around. Basically what I'm saying is even though you feel it is the end of the world honestly it really isn't, a tumour doesn't have to be life threatening.. You can come through this and afterwards you will wonder what all the fuss was all about. I was also reading in the paper yesterday, about a little girl that had this too. It was spotted by the optician, she was rushed to hospital and after surgery and recovery she is better than she ever was. So the other thing was that if your neurosurgeon was really worried he would have sent you to hospital straightaway rather than wait for the appointment.
Diva I have the Lavender Lemon YC too, haven't burnt it yet but might just do it while I am doing the housework. "Toxic friend" bought me a huge jar of Vanilla Lime but I'm not sure if I like it :( My princesscat absolutely loves being combed, I only have to get the comb out of the drawer and she is there from absolutely nowhere :) Olliecat hates the comb, he lets you do one stroke of it then he is off like lightening..lol

Onestep, you do all 3 levels to get a star, but I'd just take it easy and not aim for stars just yet as you're new. I bust a gut to get all my stars to start with but am now much more relaxed about the whole star thing ! Well done you for getting level 1 done; feels good doesn't it.

darn!! thought it was a bit easy!! :T:p Got to go to Mr T's now, but will hopefully be back to do (some of!) the rest later.

Thank you for the happy birthday wishes for my daughter, we had a slight change of plan, were actually going to take her out to dinner tonight (may the gods help the folk at frank and bennies) hopefully she will behave herself. if she is relitivley calm by the time we have finnished we willt ake her bowling. if not she will come home. i really wanted to make her birthday special but we are so limited on where we can take her, most places don't understand her and there are a few places were not welcome anymore.
