sandy I am thinking of you. You make sure you tell DH when he gets home and I am sure he will be understanding. Brilliant news on the house move too. Regarding ADs and AEDs. I have both but I guess it depends what you are already on.

    Sandy ((((hugs))))
I was trying to think of something useful to write - then I read toots' post.
She always finds the right words.

As others have said - you can make the move to York and get your treatment from them right from the start. Plus you are nearer family. Plus there appear to be a team of Flyladies forming ready to welcome you.

I can't take anti depressants as they react with my AED's so will just have to try and cope:(
While its true that some of them will decrease your threshold for fits, and/or react with other medication, there must be something you can take, so worth an ask, surely?
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

When DD had them 4 years ago she was off nursery until the scabs dried over at which point she won't be contagious any more. I presume the ruling is still the same - may be worth a phone call to your nursery to check? Hope she's not in too much discomfort tonight, poor little love x

  • Not that it's a comfort at the moment, Sandy, but a tumour like thingy in the description of a consultant doesn't necessarily mean a tumour in the same way we think of it. To give an example, a lady might have a hysterectomy when she has fibroids. The consultant would (normally knows better, but could) say she had tumours.

And, although it's horrid to hear by phone, you wouldn't really have preferred to go in alone, be told this and have to catch the bus home, and a letter could have taken a week.

Just think, you could be in your new house soon, where you want to be and getting everything dealt with.

And now you have the flyladies to hold you up!

    Afternoon everyone,

I have managed to 'steal' back my laptop from the children!!!:j:j I've only had it for 3 or 4 weeks and you can count on one hand the amount of times I've used it. **rollseyes**
So, I am in theory, a laptop virgin plus I'm not used to this keypad yet so I'm sorry for the immense amount of typos that will more than likely appear.

    Right hugs to sandy :grouphug::grouphug:

And Happy Birthday to Miss H!!!

    Off to find a list....................................

Thank you I will ask about it. When I mentioned it to the GP he said there was no way I could mix them! I am on 2 different AED's so maybe that's why.
Thinking about it properly though I'm still having fit's anyway so may as well give it a go. I just hate taking drugs all the time:(

Trying to decide how to tell DH, he rang again and he is in a really good mood, I don't want to upset him.
