Neuro has rung back already. He said there is something "tumour like" there. He will refer me to York.
I can't believe he told me over the phone then passed me on.
So sorry Sandy, and it was insensitive of him, but at least you were at home when you found out and don't have the travel to contend with. Hopefully your referral will come through quickly with a more sympathetic neurologist who will be able to reassure you.

In the meantime, it's good to see that there are lots of flyladies in the area eagerly awaiting your arrival.

Don't worry about flying for now. Make a list of all the things you've always wanted to do but felt you haven't had time for, and start doing them. I know Toots has done this, and it inspired a lot of us to get off our bottoms and make the most of NOW. You need to keep yourself busy, and at least this way you'll feel that you are achieving something. It doesn't have to be big things - it can be as simple as trying every flavour of ice-cream at your local ice-cream place (Toots wanted a manicure and pedicure, so Jo took her along to have one and it appears she's now got a taste for it ;):p)

Don't forget, however scared or lonely you feel, we're all here for you.

    ETA - I keep forgetting - HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS H !!!!

What a blinkin stupid thing, I thought I would do some online shopping quickly from Mr T as we have vouchers - spend £70, get £7 off - and so I did all the shopping and got to checkout but because the voucher is in DH's name, not mine I couldn't use it. SO then after a lot of faffing about, I realised I would have to do all the shopping again under an account for DH - except it took three times as long because he's got no favourites saved. When I shop, I just go to my favourites and choose what we need from that

    Anyway, sorry for the rant!

In the HHC I didn't get very far! I made the bed and put it up, then tidied a box of stuff, and got dressed and got ready to go to the PO. THen decided to do the shopping...

Going to the PO now, see you all later xx

    Hi :hello:

I was AWOL more than I was here last week. I am determined to get more done before the house deteriorates into the land of gibble again.

Hugs, toots, lady_l and sandy, thinking of you all.

I'm sure I'm going to manage to get the WM on... so that's my job for today ;)
I've also got to take DS back to the hospital after school then hobble down to the shoe shop as he failed to tell me about the big hole in his school shoe I discovered last night!!

    Thank you all.

DH has just rung and our sellers have agreed to rent the house out to us. I just can't be happy at the moment, DH can't understand why. I haven't told him what the neuro said yet. I haven't told anyone except the flyladies. I have just been sat here crying. :(

I'm sorry for being selfish (again) I do read all your posts and I know some of you are having a much harder time than me
