Gggrrr.. NOT impressed with DS1 and gf.. they brought Jacob round at half 8.. in his jammies, no brekkie etc... They brought him clothes, though gf wasn't going to.. short sleeve cotton shirt.. no coat!!!! I have school pickups to do and he is cold already.. so he is wearing a very pretty purple knitted cardy which was Tiddles
.. I love this cardy.. they aren't picking him up until after 4 .. it'll be freezing by then!! They of course had coats and jumpers on!

Morning everyone
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday MissH
 Hi Toots, good to see you back xx
Continued ((((hugs)))) for Sandy. Good to see you posting xx
I'm off out in a while to do some grocery shopping, so will do some flying after. I still need to put the new part on the Dyson  so I'll tackle that later to see if I can get it working. My house hasnt been vacuumed all week because of the wait
In the meantime, I am pacing up and down waiting for my WM to finish. I have risked putting in DDs silk dress (dry clean only) on a handwash setting. Its a beautiful dress she wore to Saturday's wedding and I thought I'd chuck it in the machine. I'm regretting it slightly now though..... We shall see :cool:I need direction to perfection...0 -
Found my kitchen! :TCan now see the table & chairs (amazing). Also cleared dining table, hosed it down and reset - look lovely now (won't last)
LR is reasonably tidy. Will hoover later (can't get in way of wii marathon)

Trying really hard not to get OCD about it, but did find myself using FL speak at hospital yesterday, talking about 'DS3' & 'DS2', instead of 'youngest son' and 'middle son' :rotfl:ooops........
Off to speak to a friend/neighbout now for a few minutes......she's really poorly with severe morning sickness - there is an actual diagnosis for it, not sure what it is, but she will probably be in bed for the whole 9 months, throwing up :eek::eek:

HBTY Miss H.
Attic of doom is focus this week as insulation/building work may start soon. Typical District Council doorstepped me on Thursday evening trying to get me to sign up to the the PAYS loan immediately. They want to get it into this financial year which would mean that all building work has to be complete and signed off by 30th June or the loan is withdrawn! Since the work involves rebuilding a double height bay window (which has to be ordered 8 weeks in advance) and insulating sloping ceilings in 3 rooms and walls in 2 others, both the builder and I think this a tad impractical. I wonder what the legal implications are if I change the date on the contract to 2011 before they sign it?Would they notice? Is it illegal? could I get done for fraud?!!
Anyway. Lots of flying will be done - mostly stuff out of the door to freegle and the charity shop! Oh and PAYS loan is Pay as you save - and interest free loan for energy saving work.
Hugs to all who need/want. Hope all are well and thanks to the usual suspects for keeping us all on track!0 -

How did you do Miss H and Rose?0 -
Hi everyone
Not too bad in my HHC - I emptied the DW, airing cupboard and WM, folded all the dry stuff and put it away, and ripped all the vouchers out of the Mr. T and Garden Centre booklets which have been sitting on my counter for absolutely ages... I put them in my wallet so they are actually available next time I shop (now *that* would be a novelty: I went to get the gardening ones out yesterday and were they there...? Noooooo ).
Oh, and I logged the 2010/11 Council Tax payments into my monthly budget spreadsheet, and found that the payments had gone up less than I feared!
How did you get on, Tooch? ETA: we crossed! Boo! You have nearly finished your sitting room!!! Not fair!
Quick cuppa, then on with the sitting room. Have decided I am going to make myself a cake, too..

Happy Birthday MissH.
DH phoned the solicitor about renting our new house and I phoned the neuro about transferring my care.
Waiting on both to call back. I feel sick, I didn't sleep last night. I'm dreading him having some results.:(

Suppose I should do some work. I'm in the office all this week, so the house is festering unattended. Hopefully the builders are making progress with the gravel on the patio, and the skips will be gone by the time I get home...0 -
