Hi everyone
Thanks for the list again, to the Tremendous Trio (et al.)
I'm in again today, and need to have a good go at the sitting room, so I'm glad it's up for today. I also want to get outside and do some gardening before the rain comes mid-week.
It's my nn birthday today - ends with a zero, so it's supposed to be a 'big one', but the day is curiously flat. Most of the family have forgotten it completely - like my Dad - or still aren't talking to each other and me, so are deliberately ignoring it (like my Mum and my toxic sister). DH/DD went off early at 7:30 to school/work, so the house is rather silent and empty.
But we went to the garden centre yesterday, and DH/DD treated me to a couple of topiary box plants I've been wanting for a while; and we all had a nice meal last night which DH made for me (home-made lamb shanks and roasted veg; and little chocolate pots). And I did get a very funny card from my other sister & BiL. Tonight there's a school concert, so we're having a quick pizza at 6:00pm before tearing out again to watch DD play her cello. So I'll get to put on my glad rags then, and may treat myself to a glass of wine before we go.
All the same, I'm feeling low (n-'zero' birthdays always get to me!) - so I really need someone to throw a mule in my direction and tell me to get a shift on!
Love to all
MissH

Sandy – I had limited internet access last week so never got to see how you got on, will try find it on old thread (((Hugs)))
Rose – How are you?? How are the walks coming along? x

Happy Birthday MissHiggerty!
I've had plenty of birthdays like that! Enjoy as much as you can - esp your purchases from the garden centre!
I'm in again, although from now to next Weds Food and IT coursework will be taking priority.....and the grey hairs will be breeding due to stress!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Morning all,
I'm here again this week, probably level 1s, must do decorating. Thank you to Pigpen, Soappie and Toots, real and mystery!:T
I bought the latest Kathy Reichs yesterday and asked DH to hide it for me. He's supposed to text me at 11pm to let me know where it is, so I've got to get some more work done first.
Sandy - I would love an excuse to come to York more often. We could sit by the Ouse in the sunshine and have a drink, if you're up for it (or do anything else you fancy).
Made me laugh about the book, I have to put them in my bedside drawer and only to be retrieved when all work done
Also, Sandy, same here, I am in North Yorkshire and can be in York in 50 mins and don't mind excuses to visit, same as MrsC, so let us know when you move.Teen 1 off school with D and V ( not 'pulling a fast one', evidence of illness everywhere!). Will scub bathroom within inch of its life later when all calmed down!
ETA sorry, just read back through, and realise evidence of nursing background there. Too much info and no sympathy!!!!:D
:rotfl:I have no nursing background but it's still my approach, made me laugh though :rotfl:
Old lady walk this afternoon so have to work like a dervish (can I do 3 hours work in 2; shhh don't tell the boss:D), do some flying and get tea ready before I go..........so must dash.......if you see me here again, feel free to give me a boot:D
ETA: Happy Birthday MissHProud to have dealt with our debt. DFW Nerd 1474
DFD 25/08/15 _party_. Was: £23,929 01/01/14.0 -
I'm going to do a HHC at 10 if anyone wants to join in.......0
