Morning all
Rach, the push chair dilemma, I have no idea really. It's a long time since my kids were babies! One thought though, if parents want you to get a new one - suggest they buy it for you!
Slept in this morning which is typical on the day we put the clocks forward but hey ho. Weather forecast was for rain today but we actually have sunshine which is rather nice.
Off to bathe and get on with the dayI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi. Sorry if anyone was worried, I neded time to try and make sense of things.
The neuro is sure I have an inoperable astrocytic tumour. I have to have a biopsy done to see what grade.
There is a build up of fluid on my brain which is why my balance is bad and I keep slurring my speech. I have steroids to try and reduce that. Once that is improved I have to go in for a biopsy.
I am going on Monday for another MRI but using dye this time to find out if it's secondary or primary.
I have never felt so scared or alone in the whole of my life:(
Big hugs for you Sandy :A I'll PM you.
The concert was fab, but I was exhauste afterwards, so left the pub about 10:30. Been up since 7, and about to get in the car for our trip to London. May catch up if I have internet access, otherwise see you all later in the week :j

Have a lovely break Penelope Penguin
Rach - I bought my pram new for lots of money (an all terrain three wheel walking one) and then hardly used it. Both my boys hated being in one.

I have also seen a really good pushchair (mountain buggy) on netmums at a great price, my mum and DH both want me to get a brand new one but it seems in great condition (seen pics) and my feeling is to get a better one 2nd hand
BUT will take a bit of persuading dh to let me go and look at it. any advice ladies?
Rach you are a keen walker aren't you, will you be off-roading with it?! Its just I had a second-hand silver cross buggy and I killed it on dirt tracks. With DD2 I bought a super duper new quinny one, with 16 different positions and so on, but mainly used a baby sling (baby bjorn the're great), though there have been safety issues with some slings in the press lately. DD2 didn't like the buggy either, but here's a thought, they reckon speech develops better if you get a buggy where the child faces towards, rather than away from you - something to think about later.
This baby will need to be a girl otherwise it will look a bit funny in a shocking pink travel system:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
sandy I'm sorry to hear your news and I'll pray. You are not alone here, some other people in a similar position, so keep coming.
eta oops, sorry, flying wise I have unloaded and reloaded the wm, deloused the whole family:eek: and about to take DD1 riding. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
