There you go, £28.50....and you would not need to mark it as it is already a bright yellow.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

The words chocolate and fireguard spring to mind. You'd have to renew it every time a neighbour brushed past it with a wheelie bin.
And a weatherproofed padlock smacks of quality too lol.
How much to monoblock the drive to install it? or have a solid base put in to bolt it to?
Finally, it says first post £7.99, additional posts £1.60. Come on, how silly do they think we are, the second post was stopped years ago. (J/K)0 -
Must admit, I think I paid around £60 for mine, had to dig a hole then refill it with concrete, but it was damn strong, in fact strong enough to withstand me stupidly reversing into it when I forgot to remove it. Although at the time, at least it meant I still had a car to reverse, as without it, the car would probably have went walkies in the middle of the night.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Told ya, gets nearly everyone,I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Sounds like the trick is to reverse into your driveway rather than out of it.
This is generally a good idea even if you don't have a bollard.0 -
Armed with an electric drill and a large bolt plus a bike "D" lock; I made my own with scrapyard materials. The barrier cost 15 GBP. The lock about 5GBP and the holes and concrete about 10 GBP - A full day's work 11 years ago.
I'm on the third "Oxford" bike lock now.
Result similar to the red & white job illustrated.
