If I'm doing a small amount of washing up, I don't tend to .... but if it's an after-roast kindof wash - most definitely!

    If I'm cooking everyday dinner, I don't tend to ... but if I'm baking/creating ... then I do :)

I hate aprons which go around the neck, so tend to tie them round the waist only.

I bought a lovely batik apron in Bali last year, fab colours - lime, purple, fuchsia pink.

Do I wear it for cooking?
    No!
It's far too nice to get spolied.

I have a number of large, long T-shirts that I wear when cooking because I usually get meat blood, tomato sauce/puree etc all over me and I just chuck them in the wshing machine. it doesn't matter that they're stained, at least they're clean.

I was just thinking of this the other day. I have an apron which I use maybe 40% of the time, what I'd really like is an aprony, tabard sort of thing - more tabbard than apron I think, but less than a 'housecoat'. Think I'll ask the Goo*le ;)

Yes, regular apron for cooking and a wraparound overall (40s style pinny) to clean the house. I got these wraparounds in a market in Rome and absolutely love them, they seem impossible to find now in the UK!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Caterina, I have been looking for one of those 1940's floral cotton wrap-around aprons for ages!

I always put an apron on first thing in the morning and don't take it off at all until I go to bed at night. I have a varied selection !!!
