I know there have been some ideas for something we could all do together - I like the ideas I have seen so far. I have a little inkling of one too, very like the others, really, but probably easier to set up.

It would need a basic webpage, with a list of topics areas to help people who are starting out to make money, instead of all of the pages / topics being in the webpage (and therefore quite a big site having to be updated / maintained by one or two people).

These could be individual blogs set up by each of us to cover the topic areas and we could maintain our own blog / answer questions asked by people posting within our blogs, etc. Each dribble blogger could contribute a paragraph regularly to the main site, containing news headlines for that topic area.

I am rambling, but to recap what I mean:

A basic website with links to topics about money making (needs a good name)
These links go to individual blogs set up specially for the purpose
Each of us creates one or two (?) blogs + maintains them / answers questions
Selected ads on main site / ads on individual blogs / offer free downloads of information, etc?

A bit like a website hub with blogs leading from it.

    If this is gibberish, apologies.

I think that's a great idea; I'd love to go with the village idea too, for the links - but I think it could really work as we can then concentrate on one or two subjects of our own, as and when we have time (which is my main issue; my free time is quite erratic!). Could we also have a forum on the main site? For us and for others to join in and 'dribble'?

Paula - I thought my mind was bad but even I missed the crack in mabels mannequin!!! that has set me off giglling all over again.
Em's dribble to 10k facebook group is private if we want to use that.
Or taskslayers ning group is sitting there unused as we seemed to just do it all on here anyway. thats very private. invite only with discussion forums and chat.
Would be a shame to make this thread quieter though.
But those are 2 ways we could discuss stuff more privately.

grrr - damm email! in fact Munchki might know why as it is through 123-reg, didn't she say she worked for them once????

It still does get to me ok, just tells you that it doesn't!! Hopefully if/when I sort my website/hosting back out it will be ok again!

    Emailed you back!!

Jo - you are so right. My OH is very supportive and fantastic with rthe kids too (prob better than me!!) - he isn't too hot on housework but will pull his weight when needed and at the mo he has sooo much to do at work and is soooo stressed I don't expect anything of him. So I am def. basing my ideals on our relationship - really wish at the mo we had enough money so he could tell them where to stick his job, basically he has been given a promotion but is expected to still do his old jopb too and without any money, just the lure of well if you take this on and do it well, an achieve this and this then we will be ableto consider a pay rise but until then we have no money.......so he is doing two peoples work, as they also won't replace him in his old job, and expect him to work for no extra and he works loads of extra hours which he is then told he shouldn't be doing......he can't win! Sorry turned into a winge...and if I don't go my children will be winging ...byyeeeee xx
