ok, completely agree, think mine is feeling a little bit imasculated though. After a huge great big row at half 7 this morning (yep, just what I needed!), he finally spilled at what he problem has been the last few months, and guess what, its you lot! Appartently, I am never going to make any money, you lat aren't real, you are "poxy little virtual friends" that will never help me and that I am "wasting time on here, when I could be doing more important things" "like what?" well appartently "cleaning this place". Well thats put me in my place, despite the fact that even though I am raising 2 small kids and running around after him, I am expected to contribute financially as well, without using the computer, nursery or ever stopping cleaning. Oh, and now I am earning, I can pay all of the bills as he has been doing it for the last 2 years, well that must be why we are 9 months behind on them all ,and yes, I earned a whooping 32.50 this week, well thats going to go far, and him, well, he had a great week, earned £950 and BLEW IT ALL ON F**KING FISH!

Just needed to let of steam, sorry, I really am not having a good week, hope it gets better :(

I had this type of thing from DH when I wasn't working, he was esp prone to reminding me that he earned money / paid the bills - forgot that I was doing everything (and I mean everything) else.

Told me last night that I am doing too much! I know that. My plan is replace my pt job with my own business / moneymaking stuff - he then said that I wouldn't be any happier if I didn't work. Grrrrr, just how does he think he knows that?

He thinks I would only earn pin money from my own efforts, no confidence in my ability to succeed it seems.

Or, maybe poor diddums is feeling a little threatened . . . ?

"was disappointed it has a crack in it as well now but the bits that matter are fine"
-that just really cracked me up!
I've got DS off school as he's meant to be ill but doesn't actually seem to be atm as he's been sent to bed for a rest and he's woken his sister up, grr, was going to get some earring sulkies done so am cross now! Clay came while I was out, the good news is have lost 4 and a half pounds at Weightwatchers, yay, go me etc. Am in a right foul mood and feel like punching someone, possibly OH, he thinks his time is more important than mine and keeps telling me off for not telling the kids off for every little thing; trouble is, if I did that, I'd spend all day doing it; moneymabel am loving the bogey suggestion. There's always the toothbrush and toilet seat trick too...
Anyway you lot have cheered me up, and yes i think we should get somewhere more private to discuss business lol.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

I have exactly that - I do everything at home, he comes home and tells me he can't do stuff because he's done an 8 hour shift. I get up with the kids and go to bed shortly after them, when does my shift end?? And I get knack all gratitude from trying to earn a bit of extra cash on top of that! The doing too much remark sounds familiar too, it means they feel like they're not getting enough attention, in my case anyway...

Paula - I thought my mind was bad but even I missed the crack in mabels mannequin!!! that has set me off giglling all over again.
Em's dribble to 10k facebook group is private if we want to use that.
Or taskslayers ning group is sitting there unused as we seemed to just do it all on here anyway. thats very private. invite only with discussion forums and chat.
Would be a shame to make this thread quieter though.
But those are 2 ways we could discuss stuff more privately.
