Paula - I thought my mind was bad but even I missed the crack in mabels mannequin!!! that has set me off giglling all over again.
Em's dribble to 10k facebook group is private if we want to use that.
Or taskslayers ning group is sitting there unused as we seemed to just do it all on here anyway. thats very private. invite only with discussion forums and chat.
Would be a shame to make this thread quieter though.
But those are 2 ways we could discuss stuff more privately.

Is it wrong but there is part of me that would love to be a trophy wife and not need to make money - though maybe that is because I just think I would have a rich husband and still be able to find time to write and just not have to worry about bills! or am I missing something????Life is a work in progress0

If other people think its a good idea then people could send me their email addys and and I would send them an invite.

I know there have been some ideas for something we could all do together - I like the ideas I have seen so far. I have a little inkling of one too, very like the others, really, but probably easier to set up.
It would need a basic webpage, with a list of topics areas to help people who are starting out to make money, instead of all of the pages / topics being in the webpage (and therefore quite a big site having to be updated / maintained by one or two people).
These could be individual blogs set up by each of us to cover the topic areas and we could maintain our own blog / answer questions asked by people posting within our blogs, etc. Each dribble blogger could contribute a paragraph regularly to the main site, containing news headlines for that topic area.
I am rambling, but to recap what I mean:
A basic website with links to topics about money making (needs a good name)
These links go to individual blogs set up specially for the purpose
Each of us creates one or two (?) blogs + maintains them / answers questions
Selected ads on main site / ads on individual blogs / offer free downloads of information, etc?
A bit like a website hub with blogs leading from it.
If this is gibberish, apologies.1373/100000 -
OK well I'll keep mentioning it at different times in case anyone misses these posts
it's a shame we can't all meet up and do a big mind map type thing! But one of the first things we should all maybe do is a mind map each of what we could all do

had forgotten the taskslayer - good idea to use it. I will need to be reminded of the link though!
Maybe if we use that for the joint venture only and this for everything else????Life is a work in progress0 -
Nixi, I wouldn't completely mind not having to earn money but I would resent just being there to make my husband look good.
Dh and I have gone without a lot so that I can be at home with the kids yet he does at least as much housework as me and more cooking and plays with the kids loads too. He is really supportive of what I'm doing and actually admires me for the "hard work" of mothering that I do. perhapd he appreciates it because he does it too and knows the reality of it.
Not gloating. just sayig I have been a non earning stay at home wife but in no way a trophy wife. That would completely change the balance in our relationship.
Also there is quite a lot of work involved in supporting him with his job and he appreciates that but it is never in a way that what he does is most important rather than he thinks what I do is most important and he needs to earn money so we can carry on with it.

I think a bit more private would be brilliant, I'd like to share ideas and gather opinions without it being so public!
OH has just gone to his meeting, he'll be back at 4.30, then we've gotta run into Brum to pick up a desk he's ordered me, then meet Mexican at 6 for the match. And I feel and look rubbish. Bleugh. Do I sound horribly ungrateful? Lol!
Money, I agree about the men. Some of you guys are saints to put up with what you do!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0
