Hi Dilli, I had a question I wanted to ask you about blogs but I just can't remember it:(
Oh yes I do remember it now.
You know when you talk about a post you've seen on someone elses blog and show some of the same pictures they have in their post - how do you go about it. do you just link to their post and insert image by copy image location?
or is there more to it than that?

    Hey Jo,
Normally - contact the photographer first to get image permission - get them to advise me which blogs the pictures have been on. Once I have the links - I then add them into the article. But, the pictures never come from the blog - always the person who photographed them (unless the blogger is also the photographer).
Then I insert them into the post.

Or I will email the blogger and ask if I can link back to the site and maybe use one image from the set. But, I always ask permission so they can't accuse you of copyright infringement and all the rest of it...

Hope tha makes sense... or was that all super nerd talk again???

Why do I hate things that require more effort than just spontaneity!!!May come back to you for more clarity when I am a bit clearer about what I want to do.

  • Thankyou everyone for just caring. It really means a lot.

You are all right, I really needed to get OH to go to the CAB, I can't as even though it is my house and my bank balance that is going to be hit, it is not my responsability. Trying to get him to man up and face things though is another matter, think pigs will fly first. A bit, actually a lot sick of picking up the slack now, but nothing I say or do makes him do anything.

Mambury - hope it is just a bad cold and nothing else, and thanks for the advice, fishing is seasonal, you get naff all between oct -jan, then loads between Mar-Jun, trying to unearth all the catch records and payslips atm, they want the last 2 years worth, so a lot to sort.
Access to his DS is not that easy, he needs DSs mum to sign a parental responsability order in order to even be allowed access legally because he was born before '03 and she won't do it, thats part of the reason all of this kicked off. He could take her to court and get the court to order her to give responability, but that is not free and would cost about £10,000 according to the solicitor, so we can't even do that. DD1 is 2 and a half and has seen her brother 4 times in her life, she just thinks he is a play friend she sees every now and then, she is too young to understand.

Jo - There is a record on the system of us entering into an arrangement, but as we cannot produce receipts to prove we paid, it counts for nothing, just that we said we would pay. She refused to let us do a standing order and always asked for cash saying she didn't trust OH. She never gave us a receipt for it and told the CSA we never gave her anything, so screwed.

Rachel - thanks for the offer, but, plese don't take offence, I don't want the DV bugs, you can keep them! OH is so nice that last time Paige caught it, she gave it to me and he !!!!!!ed off out for the week, it is a nasty bug and I couldn't look after 1 child when I had it, let alone 2. Hope kiddies get well soon though, really do xxx

I am just very much feeling sorry for myself at the moment, probably due to lack of sleep, I will be fine in the morning. I will fill out the forms and send them off and see what they say we have to pay before I book in with the CAB, least then I will know exactly what they want from us. Once it is in the postbox, I will try and forget about it until I hear back.
