Morning all, thanks for the votes of confidence, but no driving for me today, postmand failed to deliver the little green card, so have had to delay til next week, probably just as well as when I got to the nursery, they were a little low on staff in the baby room, appartenly the dreaded DV bug is going round, so as DD2 has a nasty cough anyway, ahve brought her home with me and just dropped off DD1, I need to catch up on some stuff anyway, so 1 down is half the noise.
Does anyone know of anything in Nurofen that kids could be allergic too? Gave DD2 some last night for the second time, but am worried, the first time I gave it to her, she threw up, and last night, she has griping tummy pains all night and was screaming after she had it. Don't give them medicine much at all, so not really sure, but DD1 hates the taste of Calpol so I only have Nurofen in the house.
Getting ready for a really big rant, just have to stop crying first, going for a ciggarette then will be back, don't expect a reply, just really need to get it off my chest, I don't tend to talk about real issues much, but really need to tell someone on this. Prefer to pretend everything is ok and moan about the little gripes.turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -

edit I'm sure that there are side effects to nurofen - well any medicine really. just recently got some calprofen for DD when she was really poorly and remember noticing quite a few in the leaflet but not sure what but would imagine stomach upsets could be one. maybe ask in a chemists.

Just found this about nurofen for kids..presume thats what she has taken?
Ibuprofen is generally well-tolerated and most people do not experience any side effects. The most common side effects are related to stomach irritation and include abdominal pain, indigestion and nausea. These can mainly be avoided by taking the ibuprofen with food0 -
Oh no, crap about the driving license but by the sounds of things you wouldnt have been able to have the lesson anyway. Hope C is ok soon.

Re Nurofen - it can also have long lasting damage to the liver if taken too frequently.0
