Morning!
I am up too, as usual, just need a cupppa and a cig before I am any use, then have to feed cats and fish and let them out into the garden, then sort out emails, then catch up, then I can say hello!
Wel, last night certainly gave us a lot to think about. I think we should go with Ambers site for now, and if things go well, then think about taking the plunge with actually spend time and money on our own online community/village.
Good luck with the website Paula!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -

Also can I Join this challenge? If so i have a lot of reading to catch up lol
please do join..... we are here to help!! Oh, do you know a bit about SEO?? Might take the pressure off our other resident expert Dilli!!Jenna_Appleseed wrote: »Hello nolonger in denial, welcome to the thread/challange.
I'm pretty sure you can still join.
Finally caught up with the last 10/15 pages - things are moving fast here aren't they?
I'm starting to feel a bit out of my depth/left behind on this thread, it's sounding a bit too corporate for me, the whole collectively owned/run internet shopping village.
Jenna - the original idea stemmed from lots of dribble..... I'm not sure how I would fit into that model so I might/might not by renting in the village! Keep posting though.... everyone here is doign different stuff and finding different ways around the challenge....please don't be put off...
Right I am off to finish getting dressed and then off swimming.... see you all later...

Hi nolongerindenial! Don't worry, just drop in and tell people or ask whatever you like related to the challenge. If you're just starting out, and don't have the £100, a lot of us got it through Ebaying things we have at home, or by doing extra work on an existing job/business. if you want advice or would like to come on and post how you're doing, that's great, there are others who do that every so often as they don't have time to read all the dribble and daftness. If you need motivation, or some searching questions about what you need to be doing to make money, or just a kick up the bum to get your Ebay listings or whatever done, just ask. It's all gone a bit mad since the beginning because ideas are forming and becoming reality, but this just shows you it's a good thread to join, even if you do have to skim read it lol!
Jenna, hiyathanks for commenting about the sulkies, did you write something cos I saw you 'liked' some of the posts? Don't worry, I'm not corporate-minded either at all, I just love the idea of a site where people can come and learn how to do what we've all managed to do and get positive encouragement and support. There are so many different skills between us that it seems a great idea for us all to work together on something. I'm lost beyond ideas and making stuff, but I'm willing to learn - at some point I'm going to go through past posts and figure out how to set up a blog and a website for the Sulkies, I'm a bit scared though!
If you don't have time to read the whole thing you can always skim, and if you need something important just post it in red and we'll see ithow come you're up as early as me? I thought I was the only one on here at this time lol! xx
Paula, if you want help with a website etc, I will help if you like, but then lots of us will lol.
nolongerindenial - welcome to the merkin house, in other words welcome to the nuthouse. Really friendly bunch here and wouldnt be without them!
Btw, good morning all. Just here for a min need to go find the shower and get ready for what I am hoping will be my last job interview lol. At least some of the pressure is off now as I at least have something!
Have a great day all and will see you tonight!!

Munchki, that's brilliant, thank you for offering! Was thinking I could probably flick back through past posts but might get lost among the merkins and the shoes so it might be easier just to ask lol
