I got the free sky+ last July and have now been given the sky+ HD. I am also part way through half price for 3 months as well so you don't need to wait.

unlikely they'll lose premier league coverage, they've won back one of the packages they lost to setanta for next season so next season will show more than ever before. They've held the coverage since 1992, cant see this about to change.

tried blagging it saying that my parents were offered it but didn't take it up and thought i'd ring taking it for them but no

however one thing they did offer me was that i could install the box myself for £30!!! never had that option before....needless to say if i was installing it myself i wouldn't pay £30 for it

I phoned to see what I would be offered, what a waste of time! They offered a free HD box but would have to pay £30 installation and £10 per month. They said I wouldn't need an engineer as I already have sky+ so when I queried the installation charge they said it was insurance as they would have to insure it with the courier who would be delivering. I have been with sky for years and have the full package, I never get offered anything. I asked to be put through to cancellations and still wasn't offered anything extra so have cancelled my contract with them:-(

i have taken it out and it is being fitted sat morning, also £120 is being tracked by quidco which will be nice if they honour it but the sky deal was all i wanted anyway lol

Thats all well and good but when are ofcom going to intervene and make sky give nip tuck and house back to freeview? :rotfl:

We had a letter in the post from sky in which they were offering Free HD box, Free installation and 12 months free hd. We have a HD box already which i got off Ebay nearly 2 years ago but do not subscribe to the HD pack. We wanted multli room so i called today quoted the reference number on the letter and asked for a free HD box for my other room plus the HD pack free for 12 months. They agreed to this and are coming to install the second box free of charge. Offer expires 31 March 2010.
