Free Sky+ HD Box, Instillation & 6 months free!!!

I'm counting the days until my Sky HD 12-month subscription ends. Grossly over inflated prices in my opinion.

Phoned up and was told that I needed to wait until we were called.. I think that I should give it a few days and then phone up and play the loyalty card, we've been with them pretty consistently since the 90s and surely that needs to be rewarded

i want to know that 2. i phoned back in september and blagged sky+ for free. (free box and installation). :j

do i have to wait til the end of the 12 month contract before i can phone and try and blag this deal. OH has been nagging me for months for sky HD.

My contract expires next month, phoned them this morning and nothing..
They offered me the free box, but want £60 for installation, and then then £10 monthly HD package on top still

Just spoke to the Scottish office and questioned it all as I have had 3 missed calls from them in the past 2 weeks and was concerned they wanted to offer it to me but I would miss out as they called when I'm at work.

The guy said it is another company employed by Sky that's phoning a 'set' amount and type of person (ie what they currently have on sky). I asked if I could take-them up on the offer (I said I was saving them a phone call as I phoned them.lol), but he said he couldn't and just to wait until the other company call back which he assured me was inevitable as they select particular customers to target.

Apparantly they are trying to get people to switch over as Sky launch their 3D channels in April.

I guess if it's for you...it won't go by you!! just a waiting game.

looks like you need to be on the "list" to get this deal even if you call them. Bloke I spoke to said he would register my interest this morning and he freely admitted there was nothing he could do since its another department doing these deals. Took him a while to "register" me, he could have just been swinging on his chair so will have to see

Remember folks,Freeview HD is on its way so in a few months you could be doing without Sky if you want HD.
Also,Sky Sports are losing their monopoly soon on the Footie.
BIG changes ahead and looks like Sky are panicking a bit.

Is there a best day of the week to ring Sky? I have heard before that they have a set amount of discount packages to give out starting on monday, but if so does this mean they are reluctant to hand them out so early in the week or is it simply a case of the weekend staff were a bit easier at handing them out.

not with this deal, its been managed by a separate department or company depending who you speak to, one called it a lottery to get chosen.

If you speak to cancelations you will get a deal but not with the reduction in the £10 a month.
