Sky phoned me last thursday night and offered me a free hd+ box, free installation and free 6 months hd then £10 a month for last 6 months. needed to commit for another 12 mths which isnt a problem.

Put on the spot a bit and asked them to call me back on the saturday which they did but i missed their call. Really want to take offer although going to push for the free hd premium for the full 12 months.

Ive called the call centre but they say i have to wait for the call centre in scotland to call me as they are the only ones who can offer loyalty, and not them as they were a call centre in cardiff.

Oh well, suppose i just await their call but it expires 31st march...

call them n say one of the team will call me back . the thing is i called them is because i genuinely received a call from them.

does this mean i will have to call again?

No No call Sky on 01506668589 and tell them to cancel the order. After the order is cancelled come online and apply again.

OMG Visalz! i just checked our account and yes they added the package for free,on the HD PACKAGE but most importantly they added a crafty £20 a month onto our monthly payments!! Cheeky so n so!

im livid now!

thanks so much for the heads up!! we would have been non the wiser until we got billed!!

thanks V, called that number and found a very helpful staff member who explained how "it works" they ave to add these charges onto the account to remove them each month!! confused!!!! why???? anyway, as i had removed their offer she couldnt put it back, but got us a 24hour call back to honour the original offer of the free package.

so its a waiting game now.......again........but she did tell me one thing! that offer for free free free is what the staff have!! woooooo

Same happened to me, got offered the same deal on Thurs, said to call back on Fri (I missed the call, but checking phone they had called) then they called me back again on Sat morning, was a different person, I said I had already had call on Thur and Fri (missed) but I thought it was 12 months free HD subs not just 6, went off to check last time my number was dialled!! and came back and said, that's fine, free HD Box, free Install and free 12 months HD. I would hang off, you will probally get a call back, and remember you 'thought' they had originally said 12 months free HD.

Are they just phoning particuar parts of the country or is it random? Anyone in N Wales had a call?
