for business partners. which I am not .:( So sadly I cant apply for this deal.

hi, why not ring the sales team up and say that you had a call for free hd box, free install and free hd channels for a year, i just done it and got this deal myself thanks to a user on here...kimberly i think her name was sorry cant find original post.

i am a existing customer with my own hd box which i got second hand from ebay and still got it so give it a go you have nothing to lose.

they did say to me are you sure it was sky who rang you and did thay ask security questions etc i replied saying yes so hopefully install will go ahead ok on the 26th march

Thanks to this thread i got free HD box, Free installation and free sky HD for 12 months.

My Dad wants me to have a go for him, only he doesn't have full sky package. Was just wondering if anybody who got this deal is not on the full package?

I just called Sky,and was told it's a LOTTERY to get that deal, a representative said sky have to call you. Don't shot the messenger peeps, just what they told me. Good luck tho.:(

Thanks OP. I rang last week after hearing something similar from a work colleague, got the free box, but they wouldn't budge on the installation costs, even though I am also going to switch over my phone and broadband to them. Hmm, methinks another phone call is in the pipeline today!!:p

We called them after reading the thread on here. We asked for the 12 months free, but they wouldn't give us that, but we did manage to get the 6 months free, so it's worth a try phoning them.

I got told the same yesterday! Got told it wasn't Sky themselves making the calls but another company who had a list of numbers and were working their way through them. Said it was like winning the lottery and you wouldn't just ring up and ask to win the lottery! Anyway, went through to cancellations and eventually got helped by a very nice girl who said she couldn't get me the free box, installation and 12 months free. Best she could get me was the free box and installation. She did ring me back later as promised after checking with colleagues but with the same answer. In the end I took the half price what I've got for 6 months deal (they can only give one deal per phone call) and I'll try again for the HD deal next week.

It used to be that you could only get one deal every 6 months. I don't know if that still applies, but it was built into their software at one stage.
