Got one on my sky dish already, it think because i live in a flat, there is one lead that leads to nothing so it's a spare, i've fed the lead through to the front room and all i need now is the connector:D0 -
Persistency does pay off - a few emails and calls complaining and Sky have given me the deal - free sky+HD, free install and 12 months HD subscription. Getting installed on Tuesday - thanks to all who have posted as I firstly wouldn't have known about this offer and secondly wouldn't have persisted with Sky until they relented!0

whats a quad eye?0

Means a quad lnb, that's the thing on the end of the dish arm that the cable(s) goes to. And no they dont cost £45, they're around £5 to £8 on ebay.
Basically 4 lnb's in one so you can connect either 2 dual feed receivers (sky+ or sky+ hd) or even 4 single feed receivers and all can watch different channels independantly.0 -

which email address & what did you say to them?0 -
Just got mine installed today

Everything went great, thx again to everyone who posted what they did to get this deal (:0 -
I got the offer by referring a new customer to Sky. They were offering standard sky+ box and £30 installation on their website for introducing a friend, however, once my friend signed up and I went online to track my order, they had changed my reward to £50 M&S vouchers. I phoned Sky and explained that I'd wanted the box, not vouchers. They were very helpful, patched me through to the introduce a friend department, who offered me free HD box, free installation, and free 12mth subs! I'm delighted with that, as I'd already tried the honest route of phoning up and asking if I was eligable for the original offer that people were being phoned with, and being told no. Been with Sky for 5 years, and only have standard box, but have had a variety of packages over the years, so very happy with the deal0
