Just wondered if you'd thought about growing some herbs & veges in the garden, either in a vege patch, or when we had a small garden we just mixed them in with the normal plants in small clumps. Thought your DS might be interested if he's into cooking, as using fresh herbs is so much nicer, and they're so expensive if you buy them fresh. Stuff like salad and courgettes are really easy, and normally there's people with spare strawberry plants and rhubarb crowns if you put the word out. It's just around Easter is a good time to start doing things like that. Also it can be done very cheaply. There's lots of flowers that are edible too (just google to find out which). Just thought you could start to get the garden paying it's way too.

Hypno, I just wanted to wish you lots of love and luck. Your first post really touched me and I can identify with much of what you said. I especially like your Reiki sentiments.

    Take care,

Have hopefully sorted the washing machine - drained it, and found an underwire, a key for something completely unknown, 5p and a whole load of assorted "stuff", so am now trying another load in, with fingers well and truly crossed.

se, I generally grow herbs in tubs......courgettes too and tomatoes. Its often one of those things that I vow every year to do more of, but then don't have/make time or inclination, but we do generally have rosemary, mint, chives etc to hand :)

Glad to hear you have things sorted despite the bad luck

Warwick Castle is good acccording to my Kids. Ive never been despite only living 20 miles away. There is a park opposite with a paddling pool we go to in the summer. Think its called St Nickolas (sp).

I think I have placed all bets I can for the mo - more to do this afternoon, but I need to wait until some of the current ones have settled before I can work out where my money is and what I can use next.....

Kitchen looks better, and when I have drunk the coffee I have just made, I will tackle the lounge - won't take too long.

Getting there - it is very much "dot to dot" today though......but will hopefully look better by the end of the weekend!
