I hate early goals when you are trying to do inplay matched betting!!! I get all flustered and panicky and stop looking for the best odds!!

However, one bet done for £5.11 profit, and another placed for a freebie tomorrow night. I have another qualifier to do for tomorrow's match too but will wait until this first lot settle before I do that.

I am however a master at disguising a box of "stuff" with a tablecloth....just to make it look ok for now!!!

My OH used to throw a cloth or towels over the ironing pile if he was expecting visitors - he never realised, I don't think, that all it did was make a mountain of ironing look like a mountain of ironing with a towel draped over the top :o

I have spoken to the children about moving house in a couple of years. I think the reality is that it will be 3-4 years, so to get the house as right as we can for us for the next few years is now more of a priority, rather than just making do and doing next to nothing for a potential sale (if that makes sense).
It makes so much sense - when I sold my first house, thats what I did, what minor improvements I did were to sell it .... this one, apart from the double glazing, I haven't *made* any improvements..... :( I think this is a great idea.

Hope the weekend revamp project goes well, I always find that if a room has a purpose then it doesn't get quite so much of the "endless tatt of life" shoved in it awaiting distribution to where it should have gone in the first place

    Thats a really good point................

I've got so much that needs doing to this house, really, to make it into the place I would be happy staying in. It still feels like a "stopgap", which of course it is!

But some things need doing - I've mentioned the windows before and they are definitely a priority that needs saving up for. The windows will make it nicer for us while we live here too, and will be an investment, because anyone buying this with the existing windows will def knock far more off the price than it would cost to do.

And it still looks "tired" - rather like its owner! But a bucket of polyfilla, and some fresh paint will make all the difference there.

And of course, if every room were tidy, and spacious, we would all get the benefit all the time - and that means the decluttering has to continue for some time yet!
