Hope a plan for the bleughiness coalesces over the weekend. or are you relying on being knackered with the work for the transformation of the spare room?

Sounds like a good plan for the long weekend HypnoDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

That sounds like a fine plan Mrs Hypno! Once you have a proper working space you will probably be far more productive and have more real free time to do things when you have done your work. On the days I work at home and sit in the study, I finish soooo much earlier than when I plonk myself in front of the TV with laptop in situ (like now
) and end up working all night - ok that's me back to the office...........

Sounds like an ideal weekend project...over easter I am going to paint my bedroom and move furniture around and make it more a haven. At the moment I am dreading going to bed and I don't want to feel like that.
Pass the coffee this way, awful night in the x household!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Love the plans for the weekend. I love your idea of chilling, lol! Although activity can often be more relaxing in a strange way because of the feeling of acomplishment.
I seem to have hit a brickwall at the moment for no logical reason and it is so frustrating. I'm trying to convivce myself to stop procrastinating and get on with what I need to do before I get even more behind.
What colour are you thinking of painting your room? It sounds like a really good idea.0 -
Hello,Hypno! Longtime lurker here!
Your lack of sleep really worries me - so unhealthy and being a nightshift worker I know how hard it is on the body longterm
A friend of mine cut out coffee completely and sleep was transformed for her. I know you drink decaff at night but I reckon you will still have tons of caffeine in your system.
Would you consider going cold turkey from caffeine this weekend to see if it helps? Worth a try?( Be prepared for withdrawal headaches though)0 -
Sounds like a good plan for the spare room Hypno.
Scratchie done, all 10ps.
Suddenly realised what was wrong with my diet, I'm lacking energy, so not wanting to do the exercise. The last time that happened, I swapped from a 3 meal day to a 4 meal day, but the same calories, so will try that from today combined with lowering the carb and upping the protein. So had early breakfast & brunch/early lunch so far. Just afternoon tea & dinner to go. You don't tend to need to snack so often with the 4 meal day either.
Lets hope it gets the energy levels back to normal0 -

It is currently a pale lilac (it was DD's room) and I still have some of the paint left over, so can just give it a freshen up for no cost
I am a little worried that if I veg, I will slip into depression-type mode. If I am doing something positive, I am hoping that it will create more energy on all levels. Plus, any work that is done on the house is work that is much needed!Would you consider going cold turkey from caffeine this weekend to see if it helps? Yes, it is on my list of things to do - I am actually off work all next week so can deal with the consequences of it without affecting too many people!Sounds like an ideal weekend project...over easter I am going to paint my bedroom and move furniture around and make it more a haven. Sorry you had an awful night too Sally. Even moving a bit of furniture around can have an uplifting effect!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
