couldn't agree more...im tired beyond belief but know if I stop I will really get down, never leave the house and end up in a pit of despair lol! New beginnings I keep trying to think, eventually my brain will believe it I hope!

When I had a few days off work last month, when the children were away, I found myself not wanting to leave the duvet. I had no interest in myself for a few days, and I could see how easy it would be to adopt that attitude for longer.

Thankfully, gave myself a kick up the bum, and got up......and a kick up the bum is exactly what I am attempting to do now, ahead of the weekend.

Hypno, just wondered if it's worth taking before and after shots, and starting a scrapbook/diary type thing to record all the successes you've had this year. Might be handy to look at on the bad days.

I know it would take time, which you don't have a lot of, but it might be worth it.

The lilac sounds lovely. I can understand how tempting the duvet can be and you are right to give yourself some goals but you do need me time too don't forget, where you can kick and scream without the kids being there.

Se, good luck with the diet changes. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs is one of my absolute faves.......I use the smoked salmon trimmings 88p for 100g from most big supermarkets, which make a perfectly acceptable brekkie or pasta dish :D

Yes, I stock up on it when I spot nice packs, they can be a bit variable in content, but they freeze ok.

Have you tried the tesco value cooking bacon too, it's offcuts, but OK for pasta sauces, omelettes etc., sometimes there's normal rashers in it too. It's currently £1.14 for 500gms. It's like the smoke salmon trimmings though, you have to look for the one's with the nice looking
bits in. It's normally a mixture of smoked and unsmoked.
