    Morning Hypno!

Made me tire reading everything you need to do. Good luck and here's hoping for some sleep!

I was given a little hint once on helping get to sleep-whether its one of those 4am cant get BACK to sleep or just not being able to sleep to start off with-anyhoo-just list in your head all the things you are grateful for and it will help to send you to sleep. Sounds easy and maybe a bit daft but it ALWAYS works for me.

(if you could all hear the list in my head, I would sound certifiable but hey ho)

Problem with then making lists, bun, is that my destructive brain then starts making mutated lists, which then keep me awake even more! I am "over thinking" much of the time, which is my problem - if I could switch off lists, thinking, etc at bedtime, then switch them back on again at 6am, that would be perfect!!

My lists have made it to the back of an envelope for today - that must be progress :rotfl:

When I'm like that Hypno, if it's something I can sort out I normally get up and get on the laptop & do a quick 'brain dump'. Otherwise I find sometimes an aspirin helps when it's the sort of brain not calming down thing that you can't clear out with a 'brain dump'.

I wouldn't dare switch the laptop on - I would never get back to sleep! I try and read instead. Brain dumping is a great term, though!!

Morning, you busy person you. I'm peeved at losing an hour tonight as well, but at least I only have one more workday before a few days holiday - apart from two mystery shops and a load of house viewings :D I hope today isn't too stressful, Hypno.

    Hi Hypno

I know what you mean about list writing. I too am in planning mode and am desparate to make future plans now that I am debt free but I also know I'll have to incur a bit of debt for the wedding.

Surfbabe- we have both lost our mum's recently. Go with how you are feeling. I have good days and bad days and days when I feel so guilty for being able to carry on esp. with the wedding. I'm allowing myself my feelings - this is blooming hard and we have to get through it as best we can. Sending you hugs.

I just lie there and say (in my head)

I am grateful to have a healthy DD and a healthy DS, I am grateful for a roof over my head, I am grateful for the food in the fridge, I am grateful for my cuddly ginger cat etc.

    Then I wake up...
