Have you got much planned for the weekend?
the usual - taxi-driving and village team football supporting, cook, chamber-maid, laundry worker, and all round well-being co-ordinator.
with a mystery shop and a bit of matched betting thrown in for good measure.....in case I thought about getting bored at allSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

One qualifying bet for the weekend placed - more to do as the weekend goes on. I've got a mystery shop to do in the morning before skiing and will have a look to see what surveys are about.
I'm glad the week has drawn to an end - have found today especially tiring. I slept badly last night, so will prob take some nytol tonight in the hope that I can catch up a bit - of course the clocks go forward on Saturday/Sunday so I am being deprived of another precious hour's sleep. And whats the betting it deprives me of one of the rare hours I would have been asleep, rather than one of the hours I would spend awakeSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Sorry you've had a hard week and sleep has evaded you once again.
Well done for your tireless moneymaking efforts, I don't know where you get the energy!
Hope you have something nice for YOU planned this weekend - even if that's just a coffee with a friend0 -
My week's not been *too* bad - some moments here and there, but just generally long and tiring......that time of year!
i've got another bet on for this evening, hoping for £8.48 profit....I need to make the most of it while I have the motivation - sometimes I lack all energy for anything like that, and I don't do anything like the amount that I could. I really want rid of the debt, to have a bit of savings for emergencies, and to be able to support the children through whatever they do next. And I still want to move house in a couple of years, so I really do need to keep going with all of this!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I'm am absolutely sure you will get there. Wonder if you could put a matched bet on that
I know what you mean about the week. Mine was fine until Wednesday and then it was so stressful I was thinking up excuses to avoid going in yesterday. Thankfully it's the weekend and British Summer Time begins! Happy days :j0 -
I suppose the thing about an "emergency pot" is that there is no finite size - I could say that I need to have enough there for repairs to the car if it needed.....my friend has just forked out £750 because a rodent chewed through a fuel pipe on her car...... Or I could say that I need enough so that if the boiler blows up, it can be repaired/replaced.....which could be into 4 figures......and of course if I lost my job, then my emergency fund would need to be, say, 6 months worth of mortgage and bills, in case it took me a while to find another job.....
So, a bit like saying how long is a piece of string! I really don't know HOW much I needSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
