Phew.....that is scary. We have no savings to speak of. Or cover for loss of earnings - apart from the mortgage - which you've just reminded me that I haven't increased since increasing the mortgage payments. Really must get a grip on that.

hey hypno ...totally know what you mean abou the emergency pot ...i didnt have one and the central heating packed in ...so far it has cost us £1500 to fix (and it still aint done) an emergency pot wouldve been very handy ...instead we borrowed ...again ...i hate borrowing ...but we will pay it back ...but i puts our debt free date (not that i have a fixed one) back even more ...think i will need to think about a pot ...seriously think about a pot ...0
