How are things Hypno? You always put on such a brave front, it's easy to forget how horrid things have been...

We're all getting used to things macgirl......still a lot of hurt, a lot of unanswered questions, and some stuff to sort out, but starting to settle down a bit.

Still very odd, though - so many emotions going on and you never know which one is going to make an appearance next!

Yes, I'm sure. I hope you can get some of the questions answered in time and begin to really heal - not just have to put a brave face on.

You are doing amazingly though and should pat yourself on the back for that. What don't kill you and all that :)

By the way - is it ok to mention running now?!

Brighter nights and early mornings....you're lighter so it would be easier and I really have let you away with it for long enough! :rotfl: (nudge nudge)

Pleased to *see* the highland stuff tho, especially since it starts at Milngavie - I used to distance-manage a scheme for kids with mental handicaps to go horseriding there.

Did you know it's pronounced Mill guy? Absolutely no idea why they can't give you a clue in the spelling...:rotfl::rotfl:

Good luck to all of you planning to do the WHW.

oh el, the people of Milngavie wouldn't approve of pure laziness - they are a bit posh round there;).

wellllllll...one of the girls has similar issues ...were trying to work round it with her ...were thinking ...her mum has kindly offered to keep them for a few days ...then we take a day or so off when her mum will drive up with them (actually her dad ...her mum cant drive) then she gets to spend the day with them (cause she misses them) they will walk a wee bit of the way ...so that they dont feel left out ...then go back with granny ...

nothing is set in stone as of yet to be honest ...and uni's school's childcare etc all has to be looked at ... it has to suit everyone that is doing it or it aint no good for everyone

I've walked a bit of the WHW! We did our Duke of Edinburgh hikes around Loch Lyon / Tyndrum / Bridge of Orchy /Loch Tulla / Loch Etive. Really spectacular but midge central - take industrial strength insect repellant! 2 of my friends got sent home early due to excessive midge bites. :rotfl:
