    Well, not been the evening I had hoped for - very very emotional for all sorts of reasons, with some tragic news from some people I care so very much for, with a young life taken, avoidably, from carbon monoxide poisoning.

    It is just so sad - and so unnecessary. And to a family who have already suffered a great deal of tragedy. Life is so unfair. These are people who are more like family to me than many of my blood relations, and my heart goes out to them so much it is painful.

    And in a different sort of pain, I have just done day 1 of the 30 day shred. I will let you know how I got on when I try and walk down the stairs in the morning :o
