Hypno, I'm so sorry to hear the news of a life taken by an avoidable event. Please look after yourself, so that you can look after those you care about, particularly those close family members and friends of the one who died.

Remember - one day at a time. Go gently.

Well, not the best night's sleep, which is to be expected, and I am expecting a difficult day today so will dig deep and get on with it.

DD enjoyed her prom immensely - they all looked fab in their long dresses and DJ's and had a superb time judging by the rabbiting on that DD did on the way home!

I was a little disappointed after my DVD last night - I can still walk unhindered down the stairs - perhaps I just didn't put enough effort in. Or perhaps it is just lulling me into a false sense of security in order that I carry on to do the full 30 days - maybe day 2 or 3 is actually the killer :rotfl:

I did get on my scales this morning, however, to see 9st 13 :j I hope it is still there when I go to WW on Weds.....it is many years since I have seen a 9 at the beginning of my weight!

P is coming over tonight and is staying over, so we shall go for a run then have a nosh - no calories, of course, because there are no calories in food when you are catching up with a friend, are there?

FANTASTIC about the new weight though!!!!! Really well done - what a boost. As for the DVD - maybe tomorrow will be dead legs day - don't be too disheartened yet

Sadly, the mother of this guy died young and suddenly herself last year. All completely unrelated and just "one of those things" but so tragic. You just wonder why, when of course there are no answers.

Am looking forward to seeing P tonight. She says she is bringing her running gear so we will report on how far we actually move from my sofa later on.....judging on past performance, though, don't expect great things from us as we get sidetracked by the kettle/wine

Nice thought - but I suspect it is because my squats and lunges were a bit half hearted, plus I chose to use the lightest handweights I could find!!

Hypno, what an up and down 24 hours you've had. I'm glad for DD, but so, so sorry to hear about a young life lost .... I'll be thinking of you all.
