Morning! Hope you slept well, Hypno.

Doodledo, once again I'm missing out on another good person's diary cos I only use the UserCP, not the whole-view. Must do better.....

Verbatim, enjoy your trip to Naarwich......the sun is shining here so you will have a fab time.

I will keep my eyes open for a mad woman waving randomly......:)

The sun is shining, but my own black cloud is lingering. I am on a one woman mission to stop any potential hosepipe ban through the amount of tears I have been shedding. But, as I know, it will pass and things will sort themselves out.

One of the things I have been thinking of is where I go from here, housewise....two jumped out at me as being potential but both would need me to be debt free first:

    Favoured location but no parking

Ski club village same school catchment, so no probs re kids and their friends, same village as ski club,

Both would be perfectly easy to walk to work in about 20-30 mins.

So, I do think that has to be my focus - within the next couple of years getting ready to move, but at the same time, being comfortable in the house we are in as the next two years will involve GCSEs for DS, and AS and A levels for DD, so two very important years all round.

Finally catching up on stuff. I like the second one. 1st is lovely but don't think I could live in Unthank Rd - sounds really ungracious & I'd worry about bad karma :o

Oh no gallygirl! I had never thought about that! It is/was one of my favoured roads as you know as well!

nope, rather than worry about bad karma, I will be very grateful for the fact that I am able to live on that road instead. Hopefully that will cancel it out (if I ever move there, of course!).

Walshy, it is not my diary - but doodles that needs a new name. I'm not starting another one for a few weeks yet....

One lot of washing on the line, another in the machine - I will have caught up by the end of the weekend. Thank goodness.

Hair cut this afternoon, and a mooch around the city, but I will be very good and leave the CC firmly at home, and will just enjoy window shopping, other than perhaps spending vouchers.

Tomorrow is an early start for racing, so this evening will be a lazy one in preparation!

Have a good day, everyone, and enjoy the sunshine xxx

Morning one and all, a beautiful day here :)

Hope the haircut goes well, you have a different style of just a trim?

Still no idea for my diary name so will just pick something suitable even if a little unwitty and boring lol

Is this any better for your karma.... definition of unthank

"According to the Oxford Directory of English Place Names, the place and hence the surname derives from a pre 7th century Olde English word "unpance" which means literally "without leave," and described an area of land which was occupied unlawfully."
