    Yes, it has been something that has been missed - just sitting with DD in a coffee shop for half an hour was bliss for both of us.

    We both agreed that we will make more of an effort to accommodate that type of thing more in the future.

    Yep, its the little everyday things that mean so much - I had a chat with my partner's son today. He's 18, and he looks like the kind of lad you'd cross the road to avoid, but he's an absolute sweetiepie. I'm glad you and DD are going to do more of that, Hypno.

    That is what I'm doing this week ..taking the time to relax and remember the things I used to like to do in an MSE way of course.
    We have not been doing anything since being serious about busting debt and if cancer has taught me anything..life is too short not to take time out and enjoy even the simple free things in life x

    Yep, me too. My situation is different again, but life smacks us with that lesson constantly in different ways: life is too short not to enjoy it, exactly as Taxi says.
