Yes, it has been something that has been missed - just sitting with DD in a coffee shop for half an hour was bliss for both of us.

That is what I'm doing this week ..taking the time to relax and remember the things I used to like to do in an MSE way of course.
We have not been doing anything since being serious about busting debt and if cancer has taught me anything..life is too short not to take time out and enjoy even the simple free things in life x0 -
