It's a pity it takes a bad situation to have us wake up to that fact.

That's often the way though taxi - we can't see the wood for the trees normally!

Definitely the right people won BGT - they were nothing short of amazing!! I would pay to go and see them, and can just imagine some sort of Cirque de Soleil type thing being done with them at places like the O2.

I hope they are used for the Olympics - they could do for UK what Riverdance did for Ireland

Yes, something at the opening ceremony in 2012 would be an excellent thing.

Well by that time he might be producing the Olympics as well!

A number of you tonight are reflecting on achieving a balance between the 'joy' of debt busting vs the treat of spending relatively small sums on simple pleasures and it is resonating with me completely.

I have had a bitter/sweet couple of weeks. As of today I am technically debt free - we have , today, at last sold a treasured asset for over £17000 and it will clear our remaining debt and leave us with a nest egg....what is so bad about that? Nothing...but one of my goals of being debt free was to be able to work part-time to help my own health and have some time with my mum. Mum died last week.

Hypno - your debt busting is fantastic, and focused, and I really admire your appetite for life. Enjoy the coffee - if it means you have half an hour "chewing the cud" with your daughter - priceless.
