I'm glad you could get back on, surfbabe.
I want a rumpus room. Badly. Possibly my therapy room counts as one ??? Please, please, let it count as one......... I really hate Nationwide. Now and forever, and thats all I'm saying :mad:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Thanks Hypno! I knew you'd understand, having gone through weeks of trauma with Hellifax.... good lord, I'm hoping this doesn't go on for that long. I think I've got to get out into the fresh air (open air rumpus, anyone

its amazing how they have us by the short and curlies ... we are paying exorbitant amounts in interest and yet they still like to get some more pain in before they are done bsatrads0

Hypno I read here that you did low carb type diet for a few years and now are WW. I am the opposite, WW three years ago and lost 21lb. Stayed off for a while but since I stopped smoking the calories are turning to lbs before entering my system. I have been low carbing for 1 month now and have lost 7lbs but it is very yo-yo, e.g. 4lb off last week and so far 3lb back on again (yes I am very naughty and weigh myself everyday, always have done). Plus between morning and night weigh-ins I am putting on 7lbs!! Not comfortable.
You obviously like WW, I just wondered what you found better about it than LC.LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.
(CC/LOAN = [STRIKE]36,378.98[/STRIKE] 35668.47. O/D = [STRIKE]1255.32[/STRIKE] 1212.35/[STRIKE]1999.78[/STRIKE] 1934.52, BUS = [STRIKE]9769.76[/STRIKE] 8714.98)
Challenge = Debt at 31/01/12 = £25k. 2011 Payments = £1,944.19/£24,403.84
There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

I still have a pretty low carb diet, which suits me nicely - very rarely have potatoes for example, and if I can cut out the sugary sweets and chocs, then actually the rest of my diet is pretty good.
The WW thing gives me the discipline - I am either likely to not eat, or to binge, if I am not careful, so tracking with WW online makes me think about eating regular meals, with snacks at appropriate times.
So, really it is the best of both worlds. Low carb works well for me - am always happy to have protein and veg for dinner. Occasionally I'll have a risotto or pasta dish, but not more than once or twice a week. Lunchtimes I generally have a salad rather than a sandwich, so again, pretty low carbSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Oh, and WW does allow me to have the occasional ice cream, or cake if it is someones birthday at work.....Atkins meant that cakes etc were a complete no-no, which meant I felt deprived if I had to pass them by.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
