Evening Hypno and all.
Sorry to hear about the throat. DH has the same thing, he came back from swimming last night saying he felt like he'd got a piece of bark in his throat. Today he can barely speak, so I sympathise with you both.
Hope it's better soon xx0 -
Great news on the dress hypno
Hope your throat improves soon....
I am afraid in my new job I just can't keep up with the whole thread so just dip in and out when I can.
Just picking up on some of the comments above... I have slowed down a bit on the debt busting front partly because I am in a lower paid job now, partly because we want to spend a bit - we have been trying to be mse for 2 years now and we need some treats - we are both 40 this year and partly cos the debt seems less scary I think.... However this month we hope to clear most of our overdraft which had crept up to about £1200 due to unemployment and statutory sick pay for a bit before that.... and then hopefully we can start debt busting again....
I think if that had happened when I first joined I would have lost heart but now I just see it as a time to take stock, "gather our loins" and then rejoin the "race" and start debt busting properly again...
I am hoping that we will have cleared most of our overdraft over the next month or twoAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I have so many Narnia dresses that it I ever step through the wardrobe to visit Aslan, I'll have no chance of fighting my way back to reality cos they'll swamp me! :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'

throat is very thick today, and I have started coughing, so it is obviously starting to work its way through.......great!
Banking shows £5 scratch money in, and I got 10p on the scratches today, but otherwise nothing to report.

Hope your throat copes with the wobbly world markets, it looks a bit hairy at the time of typing!‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Hi Hypno, sorry your throat's taken a turn for the worse
Erm .... I don't know what a Narnia dress isoh dear.
I didn't either until I'd read the above description...I believe it might be a dress the prospect of getting into which has seemed so remote as to be fantasy, and it has therefore been hanging in a wardrobe which might as well lead to a mystical land for all the chances it would have of getting out of it! :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'
