I thought I might keep them in the conservatory until the frost passes. All mine are in pots, I have long since given up "proper" gardening! My friend has grown all sorts in pots and they look fab, and much easier to keep the weeds away etc! Plus they can come into the conservatory when the weather turns wintery again!

Sounds good to me...never thought of the conservatory as I don't have one..good idea.

It gets nice and warm in there, so hopefully things will survive (as long as I remember to water them!!)

Just catching up. Sorry about the teaching - aside from the money, you must have felt really awkward. I'm sure it's a mistake they won't make again.

Hi macgirl!! I have to be really focused over these next few months - windows have been ordered, and a holiday is about to be booked, all of which need to be paid for, not forgetting that I only have one salary coming in.

So, I am using it as a case of "if I can do this, I can manage anything", which will bode really well for covering university costs, changing the car when this one dies etc etc.

Had a nice yummy MSE dinner - whoopsied pork chops, with potatoes and peas/sweetcorn for the kids, but with a vegetable curry for me that I made using a combination of leftover veg that was really past its best in the fridge, and some frozen cauli........was delish, and of course the veg curry was 0pts. Was a bit odd having pork chops and veg curry, but actually was really nice!

And there is plenty of curry left, so will have some tomorrow with some rice for another low point meal, and will put a portion in the freezer for another day

Lettuces planted I am strangely quite excited about being able to pick my own salad stuff this year because it is sooo expensive in the shops!

Have just got some ironing to do, then am done for the night.....I will be diong flylady this week, to get the place absolutely spotless for next weekend (not that anything is happening next weekend, I just want to avoid the weekend housework marathon that is happening)......you have been warned :eek:
