Fantastic! I can very much relate to the top one - not that I have a religious bone in my body, very apt for me at the moment though.

As for the 2nd one, that's the "sod it" attitude that I've just found.


Hypno....Pick yourself up, dust yourself up and start again - each time you do you realise there's a little less dust and it's a little easier to get up....

Of course in my house there's always dust and getting up includes a complicated dance of aches and pains but you get the gist

Hypno, thats horrendous. I'm glad DD was there, and your friend and the lightbulb about the holiday, but really, what happened this morning is inexcusable on their parts. Good for you for withdrawing from that, and I agree, they should pay you.

Thanks guys - i'm ok this evening - DD has a stinker of a cold but I am not so bad, which is good.

tomorrow will consist of a bit of housework because I have done nothing this week, but other than that, no real plans so will aim for a lazy day.

Week awa y over Christmas sounds good - we are going to Morocco surfing !

Had an offer on mums bungalow today - just got to wait for greedy church commissioners to say ya or nay! had better be ya as we want to get shot of it - having a 70 mile trip every weekend is starting to wear thin!

Morning all - the sun is shining here at the moment - I hope that it stays that way for the rest of the day.

Plan is to scratch and bank and generally do very little for a couple of hours, then have a bit of a housework blitz so that I can relax this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good one and that the sun is making an appearance for you too xx

I've made a start on the housework - just pottering, nothing spectacular.....

Later today I will walk into the village to pick up some tomato plants that people are selling in their driveways.....and to see what else can be grown in my patio pots, eg courgettes, etc. I've got a few pots that can be utilised so shouldn't cost me much at all and hopefully I will reap the rewards as the summer goes on.

I also want to finish sorting out the cabin for the children to use as a games room, meaning that the air hockey table can come out of the conservatory, and I can reclaim that lovely space!

If the sun continues to shine, we should get most of it done as I am always more productive if it is not grey and gloomy!
