Oh that sounds a nice day, Hypno - I haven't put tomato plants on my list of stuff I want to grow, though, or tomatoes, because both sound so prone to blight. And tomatoes are supposed to be bad for arthritis, tho I'm not sure if thats true.

After all the work you did on your conservatory, you absolutely have to reclaim it for yourself! They're gorgeous spaces to lounge around in when they're kept clear for that .... let us know what plants you pick up.

We got the free BBC seeds and my kids have planted them up, we are trying to harden them off so as they can go outdoors. I'm looking forward to the courgettes and carrots, they seem to be doing ok, but we'll see how they go.

We have a large football table in our living room that needs to go somewhere but I haven't got round to finding a large space yet. Good luck with the conservatory.

The conservatory is still tidy and usable, it is just that over the winter the air hockey table came in for the children, and occasionally it gets used as a ski workshop......but the ski bench and tools have been moved, and if I can just move the air hockey it will be easily sorted. There are a few dusty surfaces that will get the once over but otherwise it is not the mammoth task of years gone by when I have had to work really hard before I can even get to the seating area!

Excellent! My house has such a different feel to it now that its (mostly) tidy - apart from the kitchen right now, I've got into emptying the cupboards one by one and cleaning the shelves so I can just give them a wipedown quickly when I actually pack them. Feels nicer, too.

Yes, I have to say that my house is a whole lot clearer than it was, say, a year ago, and that makes a big difference to me - I have a dining room with a clear table, and space to move around, and my bedroom is the calm "me" space that I longed for rather than the extension of the washing and ironing pile that it was before.....

Definitely goes a long way towards helping me feel better when it is tidy!

Good morning Hypno - pleased to read about your Christmas plans which sound wonderful - and achieveable.

On the cancelled teaching session - check if you should still be entitled to be paid. You were booked to work, attended for work and were prevented from doing so.

There may be a minimum payment due of at least a couple of hours - ask, try their HR service if the course organiser cannot help.

    Good luck, as always.

It still has a long way to go, taxi, with big areas still far too scary to contemplate, but compared with years gone by, it is so much better so I will keep going!

Have walked into the village and bought courgettes and tomatos and have planted them - got some for a friend too who is going to swap for some lettuces and radishes later this afternoon, so I will plant them up and keep my eyes open for some other bits and pieces to plant over the next week or so.....I quite fancy some peppers and butternut squash.....

You may be as well waiting for peppers and butternt squash as when I went to the garden centre the other day..they still had them undercover because of risk of frost....
I have loads of pots here and am thinking of doing some container gardening.
