If I had it spare, el, I would happily send it to you!

Banking showed £25 off the 0% virgin card - my 0% period ends next month and I have just under £2800 left on that card, so I need to do something about it.

I am having a play around with the snowball calculator - trying to see if I can realistically be debt free by next April, which would mean that any bonus I get next May would be MINE! Well, in reality it would be put away for university fees as DD will only be 12 months away from going (if indeed she does go) but if I can get to that point where I don't feel that I have to allocate any of my bonus to the debt, as I have done in the last few years, then it would be a fab feeling!

I think it is doable, as long as nothing untoward happens, and I am sensible with the spending, so it is a great aim for me I reckon.

Hypno, that would be fantastic! I reckon you deserve a holiday with all the trimmings, though.

I too am seeking sugar and stodge, my sleep is lacking and my stress levels are high!

High stress seems to always result in refined carbohydrate cravings as it's fast fuel for use in stressful situations. Our bodies still consider stress in terms of "fight or flight" so they look for the appropriate fast fuel. They say that if you go for complex carbs - wholemeals, brown rice - they burn more slowly and you don't "crash". Also, it is said that if you can remember to have something to eat more frequently, this may well result in stress reduction because you aren't panicking over where your next meal is coming from, as well as fretting over everything else!

Good luck to everyone on their debt free missions - no matter how long it takes us, we will get there!

I got a phone call today to ask if I could step in and teach for 6 hours tomorrow - so of course I said yes please. Need to do a little prep this evening, but it is a workshop I love to teach so it won't be a hardship for me to do and of course the money will be very useful towards my debt free targets!

Other than that, nothing to report.....have a good evening!
