I have just ordered some windows :eek:
Just the ones to replace the worst culprits.......if I don't get sufficient bonus, they will go on the 0% card and I will add it to the debt with the aim of clearing it by this time next year.
The windows that don't need doing, and the front door can suffice with a fresh coat of paint/stain, so I think I have reached a reasonable compromise.
Fingers crossed for that bonus now!!

They have got to be done - there are some that are in real danger of not lasting another winter.
It would be nice to get the whole lot done, but I was very sensible and knew my limits.

Thanks beanie - it will make a big difference when they are done. We can't even see out of our current ones because the seals have gone and they are all full of condensation that you can't dry out.
Well, have been and frozen at the football - we lost, but who cares, we won the league so there was a good atmosphere. My sister came down for the match from Leeds so had a few mins with her afterwards which was nice too.
DS is off to Wembley tomorrow - one of his friends has offered to take him to the FA Vase final which features one of our local teams, so he will have a really nice day out, I am sure. He is certainly looking forward to it.
Have stayed within points and am having chicken, roast veg and couscous for dinner tonight - so all in all, apart from being cold, and wet, weatherwise, it has not been a bad day really.

It does have one benefit though, beanie - I haven't had to pay a windowcleaner for a while as it makes no difference, you can't see out of them anyway!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
