OOOOO coming out of lurkdom again to say ..... where's my update on Hypno's hair cut!!! Hope they've not left her too long and its all fallen out!

Lol, fear not - I am safe and sound and fully shopped and coiffed out!

I got to the salon at 10.45 after walking the dog, and had my eyebrows threaded first.......then spent hours having my cut and colour - leaving at about 2.30! I am very pleased with it, and when I get home (currently at the ski club) I will sort out a photo and put it on facebook.

Then I decided to do some "essentials" shopping - increasing my debt just a bit in the process, but which I will repay when my bonus comes through, and bought underwear, jeans, shoes, and a new plain black skirt for work - my capsule wardrobe coming along nicely.

After that I walked back to the ski club, to meet DS who went to the football to watch Norwich confirm their place as league champions, and he wants to ski again this evening (having skied this morning and last night.....) so we will stay here for a couple of hours and grab something to eat (I've not eaten all day, so have plenty of points to use up) before going home to collapse!

Hope you have all had a fabby day too.......I will tot up my receipts when I am home and will amend my signature to show the additional borrowing.....

Yes, it was lovely and I am very pleased with the results - very easy to maintain too (she says hopefully) so none of this "well it looked good in the salon" stuff!!

Glad you had a great time being pampered - I've been sorting out mums bungloaw for the estate agent to take photos on Monday - dont; know what I would have done if DB and SIL hadn't come over but it looks really presentable now.

Have got loads more photos to sort through and we found a box, which we had assumed was a needlework box - turns out to be a portable writing desk from the 1920's at the latest and its full of letters from 1900 till about 1930 - that will take some sorting !!! Found some other intersting stuff as well.

Anyway - i ache all over so am shortly (when I have locked chickens) going to have a soak in the bath.

have a good evening! - look forward to seeing the new hair cut

You sound re-born Hypno! :T It's great to hear. Amazing what a bit of self love can you - good for you :)

May I suggest a couple of well-chosen accessories to go with your new purchases? You will get more looks out of your "capsule" if you can add a bold piece of jewellery or scarf.....they can transform a simple outfit into something special.

That's my top fashion tip of the day.
