Thanks, am looking forward to it, although have an element of nervousness about the whole thing too!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Hypno, I think you were going to do a carboot, is now the time to do it to help the cash flow?0
-
yes, se, I must get myself organised to do that.
Right, scratches and banking done - nothing to report there.
Breakfast eaten.
Decaf coffee en route

Walking a dog is a nice start to the day, Hypno - and I hope it just gets better and better at the hairdresser's too. A linkie to a pic of the new hairstyle would be great! Even if you leave it up just a few hours ....
Just a thought on the storecupboard challenge - frozen veg is definitely cheaper than fresh, if you use the supermarket's own brand in kilo (or more!) packs - and there's a school of thought that says by the end of the pack, its fresher and more nutritious than fresh food.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Enjoy your pampering at the hairdressers.
Agree with KC on the veg, frozen can often be better, and also we don't have an Aldi or a Lidl anywhere near us, but I find if I do get stuff from there, although its cheap it doesn't last as long as stuff from the greengrocers. But then again, I have that problem with Asda. I only buy from supermarkets if I plan to use it that day, after that its not fresh enough for me.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

KC & Gilligansyle, just wondered what frozen veg you use. Other than peas and soya beans I've not really had success with anything I've tried. Same goes for fruit other than the summer fruit/berries mix when it's on offer, which I use as a mush with yoghurt.
With me it's a texture problem, I like vege's normally only just cooked, so from frozen they tend to go too mushy.0 -
Happy hair day. If you can manage the cleaner go, go, go for it. Appart from the money aspect (which I suppose if I was determined enough ways could be found to fund it as you prove over and over) I am trying to get over my mental blocks that prevent me, lol! Aren't we strange creatures.
Hope you've had a fab, pampering time this morning.0 -
