I have my brothers wedding in September, which I know seems like an eternity away but I want to rock up feeling and looking stunning (of course not to outshine the bride but second best lol!)
You look stunning anyway, sally! But I know what you mean.......you'll look fabulous.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Morning all - my legs ache loads today.....when I was walking yesterday, I was going at a fair pace, and I can certainly feel it this morning!
I was going to go for a run this morning, but think I will collapse if I do so! I will go for another walk instead. It is looking like another beautiful day is upon us.
I was intending to do a car boot today, because I thought there was no ski training, but I was wrong, so the best laid plans and all that.
Off to scratch etc.....and to try and kid my brain that decaf coffee will wake me up
I hope you all have a good day and that you enjoy the sunshine xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Good morning Hypno,
Just done scratchies, a 10p day again today.
Well done on getting back on the tracker. A new dress for the end of june sounds a good idea as an incentive.
Pity about you not managing the carboot, but you'll have more time to declutter and more things to sell by the next one.
Have a good day everyone

morning se - 10ps for me too. I did play 50p through on virgin as I do occasionally, to hopefully avoid the "bonus abuse" rules, but I didn't win anything there, so I am slightly down on the day, but just by a few pence.
My scales show me back (just) under 11 stone again, so the effort of the last couple of days is worth it. I was 10st 11.5 before Easter, so still have a couple of lbs to recoup, but certainly better than it was, and heading back in the right direction.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Good news that you're still under the 11 stone, it's when you go through the levels like that it's so easy to give up. So well done on getting back on track.
I need to play some through on virgin soon too. I normally do it in the mid-afternoon 1 & 2p games in Marrakesh, you can prebuy for them, and I've even occasionally managed a win as there's not normally a lot playing then.0 -
I did creep back over 11 st on Wednesday, in fact was 1.5 lb over...that was 4lbs put on in a week.....damned Easter Eggs (amongst other things!).....just shows how easy it is to lose the plot. I don't really want to be 11st again.....would quite like to be just under 10 which is my aim, but which is still some way off!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I'm hoping to be under the 10 stone when I weigh in when I get back, but I won't be unless I do something before we fly back. So got to get back into the routine, Easter did mess me up too, despite not having a single Easter Egg.
The lowest I've been for years is 10 stone 3 lbs, the worst I weighed when pregnant was 10 stone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I really want to get below the pregnant weight.
Have you thought of doing a garden/garage sale instead of the carboot, then you can fit it in with your schedule, and don't have the early start. We did one when we moved out of the last house. A neighbour helped out and had her table too. We leafletted about 100 houses in walking distance 2 days before we did it. It worked really well.0 -
There is no way I would ever do a garage sale - I hate doing car boots so I would really hate doing one at home.
I generally pick a car boot sale that is far away from home so that I have less chance of bumping into anyone that might know me.
Re the weight - I was 9 and a half stone 4 years ago.....and it has crept back up steadily since then. I will be within my healthy BMI at 10st 6, so that has to be my next immediate aim. But even that is still half a stone away!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes.
