As I have said before, benben, with this weight thing, we have mirrored each other for years! Spooky!!!

You had an excellent haul on the horses. Makes a change from matching everything! :T:T

I have decided to be really honest and to go back to my WW tracker and load everything in for this week, starting on Weds which is my normal WI day, but this week was the day I went to London.

I was quite suprised - we went to Pizza Express for dinner, and I didn't hold back with what I ate, including the hugely pointful garlic dough balls, and wine......but because I was "good" for the rest of the day, I only used a total of 30 points. OK, that is significantly over my allowed 19 points, but considering it was a treat day out, I reckon that was pretty good, and I think I can recoup those points by the time I get to the end of my WW week, especially by doing the extra exercise.

So, although I was initially quite happy ignoring it, I am glad I have looked at it properly! I need to do Thursday, which will be a bit more difficult because we went to a chinese for lunch, so a bit of guesswork will have to go on there.......I'll see what I can work out from the WW site.

  • Cor Hypno, there was me thinking my first day back on weightwatchers had been hard and I've 23 points to use, how do you manage on 19? I think there are a lot more adaptations I need to make to my diet!! ha ha ha

Thursday was horrific - not due to the chinese, because we chose pretty healthy stuff.....but due to the fact that I bought a multi pack of Tesco own snack size versions of Twix - and ate 3 of them - and apparently, they are 4.5 points each

Also, for breakfast that day, I really fancied a slice of Marmite on toast, which is a real treat for me. So I had that, but then wanted more, and actually ate 4 slices :o

So, Thursday's points tally was 37  I will have to go some to recoup that back!

Annoying really, because I could easily have gone without a couple of slices of toast, and scoffing the chocolate was just stupid. So I could have easily stayed more or less within my points and STILL have gone out for lunch with Nana.

Ah well, I am learning from this all the time.....just have 22.5 points to recoup before Tuesday is out :rotfl:

I think I would be quite happy with 23 points! 18 or 19 is alright most of the time, but it doesn't take much (see my toast issue above) to suddenly find you have eaten 8 points before 8am! That means that the rest of the day is pretty tough!

Hey, just caught up on your lovely day yesterday! Beautiful day here today too. I'm away to weigh some pasta after you put the guidelines up. It's probably nothing like the huge plates covered in oil and cheese and with bacon and chorizo that I serve up!!!

Have done a matched bet for tomorrow - £6 profit once its done and dusted...

I'm almost out of decaf, so I'm going to walk up to the village shop shortly - will have the double effect of keeping me off the caffeine, and earning a couple of extra WW points towards that massive deficit :p
