ROFLMAO!!!! Oh how I remember being dumped with the filing in my temp jobs...'tis truly the bane of ye merrye temp's life! Best bit is when you finish it in record time, smile sweetly and say "What would you like me to do next?" having just shown up all of the full-timers? Haaahaaaaaaaa!

Please bear in mind in your current state of possible woe, that poor pay and ensuing lentils are very good for ye other mission of F as well as D Free Mission. Surely noone can eat enough of those icky little things to get fat!!!??????

The D Free Mission is "in abeyance" as my driving instructor once said of my test. The F Free Mission is coming on in leaps and bounds.

I've run out of lentils. But hurrah! for the packet of pearl barley at the back of the cupboard! Cabbage and barley soup, anyone? Thank heavens for little slowcookers...

The filing continues on apace and yay! they did see it and they did see it was good and verily they sayeth unto MinnieSpender "would you like to do some typing, dear?" "Thank you, Mrs Doubtfire!" I cried in a fit of ecstacy and got proper stuck in. If I carry on like this, I'll be awarded a whole extra week!

Bonny news too - the man from AQA, he say "YES!" (well, the woman from AQA, truth be told). Once I've signed the contract I'm away. And as I've just signed up to the Hallett Head-to-Head Challenge, I'd better get a wiggle on. Why did I do that on a temp wage? Hope over experience, no doubt.

Righty ho - I'm off to dust down my green nail varnish and top hat and prance around like Sally Bowles for the evening.

The birthday happened and the race is on!

Round up - the temp job continues for another week. Phew! I'll be able to replenish my lentils and maybe go mad and splash out on baked beans too. Still waiting to start the AQA thing. Two more mystery shops came in for me. Still waiting to hear the decision on my grant application.

I've spent a few days doing my yearly plan. I do this every year around my birthday and write down what I'd like to achieve before the next one. I did OK on my goals for last year, but this year seems more important than ever. And the goals are bigger. The biggest, for the purposes of being on here, is to be debt-free.

It's not going to be easy and it will mean sacrifices (i.e. most of what I laughingly call my "social life"). So that's the main goal out there.

I'm also going to set a monthly mini goal. For the next month it is to finally sort out my flat - we're talking military action here. Anyone else out there like me - great at the superficial shilly-shally but no depth to their space-clearing? If I manage it, I will be well pleased! Maybe life will run more smoothly too? :T

That's it for now. Sorry it's not amusing. In fact reading back, it sounds dull and more like getting the contents of my brain down which will make little sense to anyone reading! But it helps!

Hello! And thank you freebird for the birthday wishes. Today's tune is in honour of another birthday lady - Madonna! Yay! Go lady!

I haven't posted for a few days on account of a) nothing much to report and b) being enamoured of the BB7 thread in the Arms. Roll on Friday when it will all be over and normal service will be resumed.

Still temping, but have been promoted to more typing duties (ye gods - wilt thou desist from such honours?) and the offer of a permanent job. Erm - thanks, but no thanks. AQA have sent all the stuff, so by the weekend I should be rocking and rolling, as Harvey would say.

The quest for DFD in a year continues!
