Well I have a capital one card along with other forms of credit (mobile, catalogue and current accounts with an overdraft) but I'm in no rush to start applying for the proper ones yet as I only have about 8 months of history.
I wasn't suggesting Vanquis is a good card - we all know its not - but it provides credit and an interest free period, so I don't see any problem in anyone having the card. I don't like using credit to get into debt (I only buy on credit what I have in my bank account) so therefore only use interest free periods - which is something the Vanquis card offers exactly the same service on as the better providers. I'm sure a lot of credit card users are like this - and the Vanquis card is just fine for that purpose.
